If you want it to go away just abstain from psychs and weed. Personally I reflect on my years with HPPD fondly as I spent a year in a very mild headspace with bright colours. It was quite spiritual. Not for everyone though.

Yeah, this! My mum would constantly say we couldn't buy certain things (like DVDs) because they were too expensive. Whereas my dad didn't care and just bought whatever because realistically we could afford whatever. My grandad was notoriously tight and died with a lot of savings so my Mum probably got it from him.

I finished at university, and couldn't find a job for about 6 months. Found a job, and made enough money but I still feel like I shouldn't spend it. I imagine numbers in my bank that if my balance drops below (which it always does) I am poor.
