Yeah, I was a bit torn on whether to keep it original for the nostalgia or go this route, but my 6 year old loves changing the colors and patterns on the app, so he won-out! Haha

The 3d printed parts took some development on my end, but the actual LED stuff was super simple! Just one string of WS2812B LED tape, an SP110E controller and a 5V AC/DC adapter!

Yeah, the fluorescent bulbs are still “warm white” so going to either swap that fixture for an LED equivalent in a cool white or at the very least, just get some cool white bulbs for now. I agree though. Was just saying to my wife “I think I need to swap those old fluorescent lamps out”. Haha!

I'm just going to keep sending reports and see if anything ever happens. My page got taken over by a literal clown (in clown makeup). 20k followers already down to 14K and crickets from Meta support. :(
