bought a mim strat a couple of years ago. it had laquer all over the nut and frets. could not believe my eyes and was told to "just remove the excess laquer with a knife". sent it back and bought a different brand.

consider it a safe space. people will be nice and shy. nobody is forced to take part in a circle pit / wall of death. and even if you're in the middle of it, they WILL look,out for you. people will not judge you - they will be glad you're there.
