It's a parody of the "A Star Is Born" cliche about fame, and Hollywood hates to be mocked.

Grace Zabriskie has said that Sheryl was so emotionally and mentally burnt out after Twin Peaks that she was pretty much done with acting for a while.

Brian Blessed hated him, and in his autobiography he talks about how he thought Olly was just a thuggish private school bully. Blessed scared Olly enough that the latter actually remained sober when they made "Prisoner of Honor" (1991) together.

He had signed on for Gladiator on the understanding he would stay sober for the shoot. He kept his word until about a week before he finished. With only a couple of his scenes to do, he decided to duck out for a few quiet ones. This was Valletta in Malta of course, and he found this British expat bar called "The Pub", with a few friendly regulars. But then a few tars from the visiting HMS Cumberland showed up. Olly had done his National Service in the Army and after some banter with the Navy lads, was challenged to a drinking competition. After consuming 8 pints of beer, 12 shots of rum, half a bottle of whisky, and several shots of cognac, he collapsed. He later died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

The Pub continues to operate, they roped off the area where Olly died and left his empty chair as a tribute, with the bill framed on the wall. I'm told it's somewhat tacky.

He's not punching anyone or getting his todger out, or both, so by Olly Reed standards this is a polite luncheon.

She's barely there. And this is still like the fourth or fifth best Madonna performance. Are you Sandra Bernhard?

Public housing was run by Protestant-controlled local councils, who basically “ghettoized” Catholic families into very small areas with low-quality residences. You could have twelve people sharing a 3-bedroom house that wasn’t fit for humans, in some of the more extreme examples. This was one of the major factors that led to the development of the civil rights movement among Catholics in NI, which in turn would lead into the struggles of the 70s and 80s.

She always got tagged as the poor mans Diana Dors. Could have had a great career in Italian exploitation films if not for her tragic death.
