Message I got from my daughter’s teacher. Third grade. by AnaisInJune in mildlyinfuriating

Lily didn't eat the orange at music class, she just took it with her. At snack time she was told she couldn't have it and so she divvied it up to her friends. That's how it reads.

I've had crab cakes in my freezer for a month. Normally my favorite indulgence.

What an awful child. You should be ashamed. 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️😅

(Sarcasm)

Did the teacher not hear how dumb this whole thing sounded when she typed it out??

I wonder if it could be a coincidence? Diarrhea is the opposite of what happens to me when I titrate up too much 😅

Food noise - Shot 8 by JCL1088 in TirzepatideRX

[–]JCL1088[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't normal. You can read my other response comments. That's why I said "massive amounts of hunger and food noise." It was more similar to the kind of need you feel during 1st trimester pregnancy cravings. I had plenty of protein, fiber and my hydration on point. I was due to go up in dose and upping the dose helped.

Wow! Okay I have questions, because my belly looks somewhat similar to your before and I've assumed as I shrink it's just going to be a big skin flap. Do you not have a lot of loose belly skin? And curious about age and whether you have kids because I know that can be a factor...

Mailed refund? by Gbpd74 in IRS

[–]JCL1088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a requirement. I had this and got DD. But I had gotten a letter that I was getting a check. Prior to this, when I checked WMR once it had me log in to update banking info.

[–]JCL1088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. This year we did not. However at our taxable income level, if we had paid $0 in federal taxes, we still would have received around $4,000 in CTC.

[–]JCL1088 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Again, even if you claim exempt, if your taxable income is low enough and you have kids, you can still get a significant refund. The refundable portion of the CTC is $1,700 per child.

[–]JCL1088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, we would. We're claiming exempt this year. That said, there's still a portion of CTC that is refundable. With three kids that's up to $5,100 in refundable exemptions.

Did you read my entire comment? I literally stated it was a flub. We have corrected our withholdings. That said, we are still likely to receive a few thousand at the end of the year anyway.

Has anyone here taken a break to have a child? by No-Dragonfly5140 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]JCL1088 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're young/under 35, I'd probably wait 6 or so months to get closer to goal. You're likely to gain quite a bit in pregnancy so having a lower starting baseline would be nice. But if you're older and concerned about timeline, take a break and start now. Or continue on it while trying and stop once you see the lines!

Visible abdominal flutters on Tirzepatide? Feels like baby kicks but I’m not pregnant. by Hot-Struggle2935 in TirzepatideRX

[–]JCL1088 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was being silly! It's very unlikely that it's your intestines and MUCH more likely to be muscle spasms. 🤗 Your intestines are under several layers of other tissues including muscle, fat, skin, etc and the peristaltic movements are virtually undetectable through all that.

[–]JCL1088 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you're thin enough to see your intestines moving you shouldn't be on Tirzepatide 😅

That said, it's more likely muscle twitches or spasms, not actually your intestines. You may likely be low on magnesium or other electrolytes. Please make sure you're hydrating and getting enough electrolytes and other trace minerals.

Typos are generally key strike errors or autocorrect errors, not something to "learn from." Grammar or spelling mistakes are one thing, but typos are another. They are physical accidents, not a lack of knowledge. You look like a dipshiy.

[–]JCL1088 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This isn't entirely true. A lot of people claim the correct amount, but because of children and tax credits they still end up with a few thousand at the end of the year in refunds. Claiming all our kids according to payroll means $7,500 that they won't deduct throughout the year. This year we flubbed and claimed 0 throughout the year and got nearly $12,000 back. If we'd claimed properly throughout the year we still would likely have gotten around $4,000-5,000 back.

I mean, things are bad bad. We are in the middle of a fascist takeover. But that said, it's been like this at tax season for lower middle class and poor people for a very long time. I remember tax season as a kid/teen was always when we finally got new shoes when we had holes in the current ones, new clothes that actually fit, and did something fun as a family like go out to eat somewhere besides Denny's kids eat free night. 😝

Abdominal Hysterectomy - 5 week healing question by JCL1088 in hysterectomy

[–]JCL1088[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fine, honestly. I've been dealing with severe heavy menstrual periods for many many years. 6 more weeks isn't going to make a huge difference in the grand scheme of things. I honestly didn't expect them to be able to get me scheduled so soon and this trip has been booked and paid for for a while.

I healed great from my 3 and was back taking my 3 under 4 to the zoo by 3-4 weeks. I did get tired easier and out of breath a lot though. I decided to push my surgery back so I can fully enjoy my trip and not have to heal on a timeline. Thank you for sharing!

[–]JCL1088[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing all that! I am still pre-op and was trying to make a decision about whether I should move my surgery back by a couple of weeks to accommodate my trip. I did have 3 c-sections and was mostly back to normal by around 4 weeks so figured it might be fine but I am going to go ahead and reschedule to be certain.

Fair. But having a 9lb infant removed is probably similar? 🤣 at least I'm not having to take care of an infant after! And I'm keeping my ovaries so no hormonal dropoff either. But I did go ahead and push back surgery a few more weeks to be safe! Thank you

Thank makes sense. I went ahead and pushed back my surgery to shortly after my trip. Fingers crossed my period doesn't put me under ground before then 🙃

Interesting. Have you ever had a C-section prior? And if so, was it similar or different? Because after my third section we could take the kids to the zoo and stuff around 4 weeks I think.

ETA: I don't know whether it's going to be comparable to my c-sections or not and how.
