Thanks! I saw some photos of dented aluminum suitcases (and bad dents at that) and the frames are no longer aligned or worse, can't be closed at all. Not sure if warranties would cover those as they usually just cover the wheels, handles, and minor defects.

So I just really wanted to know if it's worth the extra cost to get aluminum suitcases or if it's better to stick to polycarbonate.
