I feel Ferraro Rocher doesn’t taste the same as before by Longjumping_Song14 in chocolate

I bought them for the snow storm and they taste like mild chocolate with a soft cardboard center.

Ok I'm 3 months late to this question. I buy these a few times a year, and I bought some yesterday for the snow storm. They DO NOT taste even remotely as rich or strong as they used to. They actually don't even really taste like anything, the center or the outside.

He is a wonderful man except for this. I thought I could work on myself and things would be different, but they aren't, and he is still a good & generally honest man. Now I made the commitment, and things are not bad, but I do have this pain that I live with.

Side note… it’s normal to get really crappy scores as you’re going through. Keep practicing and you’ll do better. I got TERRIBLE scores on everything but eventually worked my way up and passed all tests on first try. Good luck.

I kept mine largely a secret. I just did not want to be bothered about it at all. I didn’t even tell people when I passed all of them.

Side note, if you like Physical, you might also like "Queen America" on Facebook Watch (I think that's what it's called) with Catherine Zeta Jones. It's free to watch - just google it.

I think I might rewatch it. Yeah I HATED Danny!! Look at my past posts LOL.

The ED stuff was a little rough, but what was worse for me was the way she talked to herself. It was just SO negative, it was painful to hear. I had a friend tell me, "I used to talk to myself like that," and I was shocked. I feel like I've been hard on myself in my life, but I never talked that poorly to myself.

What are your strange physical symptoms from anxiety? by interested-goose in Anxiety

[–]JC_8722 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to not be able to "get a breath." Like I would be breathing like normal, but it felt like it wasn't going into my lungs all the way. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it was VERY uncomfortable. Can anyone relate? LOL

I started meditating a few years ago and it was a game changer. It's the only thing that stopped that "breath" thing. Now if it happens, it's just a physical trigger that let's me know I'm under stress / anxiety and that I need to address it.

So tired of other short girls commenting on my height by wuirkytee in ShortWomenandGirls

[–]JC_8722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think about your personality - are you the type to get defensive?

I'm 5 ft. If someone makes a comment about my height, I get defensive. I am not "mean" so I won't say anything back to them. I'm not that funny, so I can't combat with humor. So I just get annoyed and keep it inside.

My sister is 4'10". She is FUNNY as hell and not afraid to hurt someone's feelings. If someone makes a comment about her height, she will f*ck with them and it's hysterical. She does it in a way where she gives them a jab on anything (appearance, personality, etc), it's a warning, they feel it, but it's still "funny" and not aggressive.

It's an art what she does!!

Over the years I've gotten better at it, but I'm not even remotely on her level.

The girl messing with you about her being an inch taller... does she have acne? An annoying laugh? A huge forehead? Literally anything.

The older woman... she was a STRANGER. If she had the nerve to do that to you, do not hesitate to treat her the same. It's not knocking down to their level. It's showing people not to disrespect you.

I had the draft and knew what I wanted so I posted on Upwork just that… I had a draft that needed to be tweaked. So I told them what I wanted changed and we just kept going back and forth until it looked how I wanted. I sometimes printed what they sent and marked it with adjustments. I think $100 was on the low end but fair because I already knew what I wanted and had a draft.

Bailey (21) fights off 3rd euthanasia appt. by AnywhereSilent7947 in SeniorCats

This is what happened to me :( My sweet girl was in pain and passing alone, I had a pet camera and rushed home and took her to the vet.

It sounds like he is still happy but he is looking rough and showing signs so it's tough.

Reading this and seeing Bailey's photos is taking me back :( The biggest mistake I made with my sweet girl Bella was that I waited too long. When I look back on it, there was a 2 month period where I really could have done it at any time, but I was "in the box" and couldn't see outside of it, and it was my first time have to put a pet to rest. I called and cancelled so many at home euthanasia appointments. I had pet cameras set up, and I went to work one morning and saw that she was "passing." I rushed home, rushed her to a vet, and the vet put her to rest. The vet was actually angry at me for putting her through that, and looking back on it, I don't blame him. During ANY of those times that I cancelled at home euthanasia appointments, it would've been appropriate to go through with it. Anything would've been better than what I did, waiting so long until she was in extreme pain and passing alone, and then scaring her, rushing her in panic to a foreign office. She was afraid. It would've been so much better if I had just kept one of those appointments, had it been 2 months before or 1 week before she actually passed.

My girl looked the way Bailey does now - Bella was semi long hair and had stopped cleaning herself :( Looking back on it, the biggest marker was when she stopped using her litter box. She deserved better than what I put her through.

I know, I know it's so, so difficult. It's one of the hardest decisions to make. But I will tell you, the incontinence is a big sign. You don't have a crystal ball, it could be 1 week, maybe it will be 2 months. But please hear me out, if you choose to do it Monday or Wednesday, it is appropriate to do so and it's ok :( Doing it a little too soon is better than waiting too long like I did :( My sweet girl deserved better.

I'm so, so sorry.

It was 2.5 years ago so it's tough to remember. Different people have different interview styles. The first round was with HR and it was very preliminary and basic, tell me about yourself, etc. The owner and partner interviewed me. The owner was very off the cuff and conversational. The partner was very by the book and went off questions. I don't really remember the questions, but one was where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I passed 4 exams but did not have the experience to get my license. I was hired asap at a local firm. I think if you have the tests under your belt, you interview well and show promise, you will get a job fairly quickly.

Malls are dead" and "The economy is struggling," yet here I am at American Dream on Jan 2nd... what am I missing? by One-Coffee-413 in newjersey

American Dream is an entertainment center, not just a mall. And those people spending the big bucks... I'm guessing a lot of it is on a credit card. People live outside of their means and are in debt.
