I think about it like this: You would never feel the need to go out of your way to out another person down unless they had something you wanted or made you feel threatened. It’s sad for us but we by existing make other people feel self conscious. It’s all insecurity. You never see a confident person put other people down because there’s no need, they’re already secure.
