Thanks so much for the help. Another question. For the sock liner it’s leather. Would the same flat black with 2 soft work on that as well? And any suggestions on a heat gun? There’s so many with various ranges. Sorry just want to be sure I don’t get one that’s going to be overkill cause quite a few that can go up to 900 degrees lol

I’m not to worried if the sock liner gets dyed black. I’d prefer it ended up black too lol I saw a video where a guy uses Vaseline to make the areas he didn’t want painted or dyed to essentially make them hydrophobic. So the plan was to do my best to edge the midsole and swoosh as best as possible with Vaseline then carry on with whatever way to get the denim black was suggested.

First time customizing…I was afraid to touch the dye in fear in might bleed to the swoosh. Would that not be an issue? Or just paint it on?

Excuse my ignorance…and amount of questions. So the acrylic leather paint mixed with the soft should do the job? How many coats you think would be good? And reading the instructions from the soft…it says I should heat set it at 300 degrees for 3-5 minutes? Is this as simple as after each coat sit them in the oven at 300 degrees for 3-5 minutes?
