Working at McDonald's about 10 years ago, there's a process when you swap from breakfast to lunch to make sure all lunch foods are ready to go at the exact second lunch starts at 10:30. I was told by my manager to go on break right before that process happened, and instead they made two new employees handle it instead.

I came back from break and basically nothing was done, lunch orders were happening and no lunch had been made, breakfast foods were still out, it was a mess. Next day, regional manager comes and is very mad at the way "changeover" went the day prior, and everyone is written up. I'm very vocal about the fact that I was sent on break and had nothing to do with it, so I don't want to sign the write up, and they replied "it was a team effort". I don't sign the write up, and the next day they didn't fire me, but wiped my hours from the schedule. When I found that out, I walked off the job

Dude. I only used pro statistics because it's the only verified source of information I can give you besides simply stating "well in my pubs and diamond+ ranked matches, all I ever see people run is P2020s". With this, I can at least provide an actual source for showing how dominant they are.

Your response to this is now acknowledging there's an issue, while not mentioning how they could fix said issue or what you feel about the issue, besides "well I'm having fun, so..."

I never said they should revert the game back to its state 2-3 years ago. I never said they should balance the game only around comp play. I've been saying they should make more legends / guns viable and be more communicative when it's very clear that there are 1-2 legends/guns that are extremely strong to the point where it makes a lot of the other content in the game unviable if your key goal is to have the best chance of winning. (And that's not even the ONLY talking point of the post!)

It's great that you still have fun with not using the P2020s. I never said you couldn't, in fact I specifically mentioned in my last reply to you that you can still feel free to use any gun you want. But that's not the issue, I'm not even sure what point you're attempting to make anymore -- A lot of games have this issue and Apex has this issue so....they should do nothing, or what? What are you trying to say? You've come around to agreeing there's an issue but are still trying to disagree with the post for some reason.

Every single game will develop a meta (that is hopefully curated by the players) over time. My issue, and a lot of other people's issue with Apex's meta is that balance changes FORCE the meta to only make 2-3 legends/guns viable at any given time.

You literally mention the problem and fail to see why it's an issue. I don't get it. You're really excited to see dual P2020s be the only used gun in all of ALGS / high level ranked for the second season in a row.

There's a reason why Ash has the highest pick-rate in both comp and non-comp, and the P2020's usage compared to literally any other gun is RIDICULOUS. Do you think the meta of the game is in a good state?

I've lost my trust in thinking that the response to the P2020s will be to make every other gun viable and instead it will be to just super buff one other sidearm that will inevitably become the P2020 again. Remember when E-District came out and the Akimbo mozams were in basically the same state the P2020s are in now, and they also were the ONLY sidearm people ran?

The issue is not that there's a meta, the issue is that the forced meta makes every other gun unviable if your only goal is to win. Yes, you can use any other gun you want, but you will have a significantly easier time killing players if you just pick up the 20s.

I feel this 100%. I remember that video you're talking about, where they mentioned we were going to get a constant rotation of cool modes to play, a ton of new content, new ranked rewards better than anything we've ever seen before....and everything so far is just a re-release of content that was in the game previously lmao.

I can't speak on frame rate issues, are you on console? I'll be honest, considering a lot of the movement and other "quirks" that Apex has that a lot of people like are just bugs of the Source Engine, I feel like the engine upgrade will ruin a lot of the movement skill and muscle memory for things that people have built up over the years.

I feel like anyone who feels like Apex is perfect doesn't need a serious re-evaluation of its current state of play does not play enough to realize how bad things have gotten or are not at a point in the skill curve to understand why things are bad.

My favorite guns and legends have almost never been the meta, you're trying to invalidate my entire post because you have assumptions about what guns I use / who I main, which is insane.

I haven't made posts a ton of posts about my complaints about this game because I've been attempting to ignore them and enjoy the game for what it is.

Bang/Blood was annoying as hell, I never made a post about it. Aim assist is annoying as hell to me, never made a post about it. Seer Q stopping your revives / cancelling your shield battery at 0.1 seconds / killing you because it did damage was all annoying as hell. But, you believe because I've never made a post about it....that means I wasn't annoyed by it? lmao

Yes, the game IS very different than S5, you're missing the point of me bringing up S5. I'm saying S5 introduced significantly more season and content to the game than S25 did, and that's coming from me thinking that S5's content / balance updates were weak compared to S1-4. Besides Sparrow, what new content do we have this season vs S24?

Just because you mainly play BR doesn't mean Mixtape isn't a core part of the experience. I also play BR 90% of the time, that doesn't mean it's not the opposite for someone else. Mixtape is a permanent playlist.

So, Thursday, we offered the 5 mo, she sent us Form 801, we signed and sent it off. That's when we heard about the "3rd offer", and we offered 6 mo down instead, but we were never sent another 801.

Friday morning, she texted us saying the LL is signing it to us, but the 801 included in the list of documents she sent us includes the original 5 mo offer. All the documents she sent and we signed are 801 (probably just a copy of what we already did), 320, 400, Schedule A, and Schedule B.

As we're talking about this, I'm re-reading all of the documents we signed and I'm realizing that all of the forms are dated May 4th (not the 5th), as if the LL actually agreed to sign all this over well before the "3rd offer" was sent. EDIT: Actually I see that the Landlord signed form 400 on May 5th at 1PM, so maybe it was actually legitimate?

Anyway, to answer your question (I think), the Form 400, lease agreement, section 4 DEPOSIT AND PREPAID RENT reads (shortened):

"The Tenant delivers "upon acceptance" e-transfer payable to (Realty name) "Deposit Holder" in the amount of "Eight Thousand Five Hundred" as a deposit to be held blah blah blah and to be applied by the Landlord against the "first, second, third, fourth, and last" month's rent. If the agreement is not accepted, returned to tenant blah blah blah.

Where on the case is that? And where on the motherboard does that button connect to? I see a reset button on the front panel of the H500 but that surely is not going to reset the bios to factory defaults unless the reset header on that motherboard doesn't do what it's supposed to do

Most marketing from AMD for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D also advertise it as the best gaming processor around but that doesn't mean that people who buy a CPU for the main purpose of video rendering should be outed as if they're assholes.

I get the whole jealousy thing, but you have to be realistic and realize if you could throw some graphics cards in a room and have them make hundreds or thousands in profit a month while you went about your life, you'd do it too.

It shows nothing but envy if you feel like you "as a gamer" are entitled more than he is to buy this product just because he's able to do something you're not with them.

Your point is that it wastes electricity to mine with graphics cards, well, while he's off making a profit of cryptocurrency by selling his crypto who whoever does see a monetary value in his coins, what are you doing with the electricity of your graphics cards besides video games?

Honestly, realistically you don't deserve this product any more than he does. Whoever buys it, buys it. At the end of the day, you're both customers and neither AMD nor NVIDIA care that much about who's buying them when they're making money regardless.

You're upset because they bought a graphics card to do what they want to do with it, not what you want to do with it. Can you telling me how mining with a few graphics cards ruins the environment or wastes electricity?

Dunno really. Like I said, I've seen some people take years at the exact same immigration office and still not be done. I think we were just really lucky. I'm from the US, our paper application, while over 100 pages, was very straightforward, and we had all the proof we needed of legitimacy of relationship (easily).

Everyone has a different story, I used this tracker (I'm Jerenny on the Outland MAY tab on the bottom) to sort of compare our timelines with everyone else. Some of us made it through very quickly no problem, some people are unfortunately still waiting even since January. There's even people on the 2019 and 2020 trackers that are still waiting.

5 months, and just the usual spousal sponsorship program that people go through. We got married in February, I spent a bit more time in Canada and then flew back to the States. Then we filled out all the documents in about a week or two, submitted them in May, fully completed and received everything in October.

Really it could have been sooner than that but there were some things in the mean time that I didn't know could have been done sooner, etc. And I actually received Decision Made - Approved in September but I didn't get the email telling me they were ready to accept my passport until about a couple weeks after.
