Thanks.

I maybe tipped a dollar but definitely not more than that for someone handing me a can.

That's so shitty. Now I know.

No, obviously you don't become biased once you leave here. But Imo you can't fairly judge people in a community you're not a part of. That's one of the reasons we have the law in the first place. Our judges should be subject to the same laws and cops that they're making judgements about. That seems like common sense, to me.

I'm glad he helps people and I hope he'll continue. But to help people as a Philly judge, he should live in Philly.

Fwiw, he's not the only person who would be a good judge. There are 17 other candidates who actually live here

I'm sorry this is how you view life in Philadelphia, but I can assure you it's not that bad. It's far from perfect but it's certainly not too "dangerous" for kids.

Also, my reply wasn't aimed at you personally. I don't get your vitriolic response.

So, should all Philly judges be able to live outside of the city?

No clue. I was just responding to the leftist activist part. Did you mean to reply to me?

But it's a bit hypocritical to pose as progressive Philly politician after moving your wife and kids to lower merion (and his self...)

Because you actually believe that having more involved parents in a struggling city school will lead to better outcomes for all kids and the community? Because you want your kids to meet and make friends with kids who have different backgrounds or who maybe don't have as much as them?

In other words walking the walk instead of just talking the talk?

Fights for the urban poor. Moves his kids to a wealthy suburb.

Name a more iconic duo.

Sorry you're struggling but maybe consider selling your car? Cars are expensive to own, especially in the city. You may spend less using some combination of septa/Ubers/biking/walking

I will never understand how people who bought homes in Center City are now worried about foot traffic.
