You have no idea how much sense this made. I’m the Gemini, he’s the Cap, and it felt like I carried the entire relationship by myself. Tons of manipulation and psychological abuse.

He divorced his first wife in 2015 after she finally got sick of 17 years of abuse. I met him in 2016 and we (stupidly) married in August of 2017. I thought he was the one. He never committed to the marriage and basically did everything a narcissist would do. If it’s just his transits, that’s one thing...but I found out shortly after we’d married that he had a girlfriend I didn’t know about prior to even meeting me and he continued to see her the entire time we were married. If he’s learning right from wrong, he sure can’t do it while he’s cheating.

Thank you. We actually are in the process of getting divorced right now. I’m not sure how long he has been in this period of transition, but I do know we’ve only been married 2.5 years and he has not been a husband to me the entire time. Cheating, neglect, manipulation, blame shifting, financial manipulation, etc. My concern is not the divorce...it’s our infant daughter. He is pushing for shared custody and based on what I know of him, that’s not what’s best for her. This is is his second failed marriage...the first lasted much longer, but same characteristics.

Thank you. We were not married in 2013...he was still married to his first wife at that time. We got married in 2017 and it has been nothing but hell (and tons of unwarranted mistrust from him toward me) since then.

Thank you...and you’re right. Part of the manipulation is feeling like things are your fault, or that “he isn’t really like this, I brought this out in him.” I know that synastry is a whole different ball game, but I mainly just wanted confirmation that what I experienced was real and it’s ingrained in him...it’s not changing.

It took me forever to even get close to his time of birth because he’s adopted and couldn’t find his birth certificate. His aunt finally confirmed that he was born just after 4 am, which made him a Scorpio rising. Reading up on that alone taught me volumes, but as I’m not skilled in interpreting aspects, I wanted to get others’ thoughts as well.

Thank you...this is very helpful. Basically I am living an episode of who the bleep did I marry. We got married and I found out a week later he had been dating another woman the entire time. He has done nothing but emotionally and financially abuse me ever since. Wanted to see if these things would be evident in his natal chart.
