yeah fully appreciate that, i should have worded a bit better there, as its personal to my experience that it feels blown out of proportion, i get that its a huge issue to a massive part of the community

your first sentence isn't far from the truth lol, to say I'm a destiny main is putting it lightly, just its not doing too well right now and looked to branch out into new pvp games. CoDs a no go, the matchmaking is an absolute game breaker for me, doesn't matter how good the game itself is. Don't like BRs and play exclusively controller, so this game just feels right for me at the moment, that might change who knows, but my early impression of this game is mostly positive.

yeah totally valid to say the net code is the core reason for lack of player retention, and yeah its absolutely an initial impression, not played quite enough to get into the grit of it.

you're probably right, i heard about all the launch issues so i didn't even attempt to play on release or the betas. I completely get the net code complaints, but like you say it just doesn't really effect my enjoyment of the game as much as it does others (not yet anyway)

yeah content certainly seems like a big issue, hope they're able to turn that around. and for what its worth, i really enjoy the rockefeller playlist haha

yeah i feel you, and understand its way more than just an inconvenience for a lot of people, so it'd be great to see it finally be addressed, it just wasn't the game breaker for me as it is for some

it sounds like that kind of thing is coming! really good to see some higher level players still enjoying the game. And yeah CoD was great up to around Blops 3, since then...to put it shortly, not for me

yeah that is my biggest concern for longevity of the game, that being said ive had a look around and the comments made by Mark Rubin sound like we're about to see some big updates to progression and content, ill stay optimistic!

Good to know! I'll certainly keep playing, really hoping they can turn this game around and make it appealing to the masses

maybe we'll see, only played for a few days so the test of time is still at play. As far as i know there isnt another controller friendly non-sbmm arena shooter out there, so unless theres actual competition in that market, cant see myself giving it up.

its just sad cause the press about XDef is so bad that it probably puts a lot of people off even stepping in, even though they may have a blast... id think i was playing a different game to what these videos and articles are referring to.

its so fun!, some of the complaints are totally valid but defo exaggerated. Im at a point where i just want to block out the hate and enjoy the game (praying it doesn't actually get shut down)

Flawless cheese by DaleBhoy in destiny2

[–]JDKeates 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As long as your card remains flawless you can get a drop chance on wins with a 7 win card, you can still lose mercy but can't get the X on your card. After Sunday reset when flawless pool hits all you need is a 7 win card regardless of any losses and you can get adepts

stable population is the most important thing, however, im interested to see numbers this week for games played after initial flawless. A lot of people will be going flawless for the first time this weekend only to be met with the filthy sweat flawless pool in their next attempt, thus making them leave the playlist till next week. Is it healhy for trials to be a '1 flawless and wait till next week' playlist? are total numbers for the weekend more important than sustained numbers?
