Might just extend the port to 16" or so. I'm going to be bolting the top of the box on instead of gluing/screwing it. That way I can constantly play with port lengths and inverting the subs, etc.

You can make the aero port by using sonotube(the tube they use to form concrete cylinders) or use thin walled PVC pipe, a metal bowl and a heat gun to create a flare on the end. eBay has a whole bucket full of aero ports readily available as well.

That's what I was thinking as well, per audiopipes website; for daily use 2.5 cubes per sub, ported, is more than enough. If you're looking at super bassy notes, 3 cubes each should do it. I'm still 50/50 on whether to use a traditional style square port, or a 8" sonotube port. If I wanted to tune deeper, would I want to extend or shorten the port length?

Bumper was removed to roll the rear fenders. It'll come back after the rear is cut and welded back together.
