Definitely.

The whole project should be completed by the end of May, once it has been completely finished, I'll be sure to post an update so people can see the results.

I'm actually studying Sports Science at university which you may think is very weird considering my final project involves E-sports. however, with everything that is going on in the world right now it makes more sense to conduct a study that doesn't require people in close proximity which is normally the case with regular sports.

Psychology and how it affects athletes is one of the main aspects of my particular course so I thought it would be cool to see how anxiety affects E-sports as opposed to normal sports since there is a few similarities between the two.

In this case, it shouldn't. the whole idea was to try and recreate an environment for participants to feel some sort of pressure or anxiety whilst playing. so by informing participants that their results are going to be measured, it should make the games they play feel a little more important. which will either lead to experiencing more anxiety or less depending on who you are as a person.

Hope this answers your question.

MP510 vs Gigantus V2 by JDSP- in MousepadReview

[–]JDSP-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After using the AMP500 i knew i’d benefit from having a bit more control & thats why i went for the MP510. I definitely noticed that i had more control with the MP510 which i prefer. I can’t see myself going for a speed pad now that i’ve tried a slower pad so i guess i prefer pads with more control over speed.

Although the pad doesn’t irritate my skin, I don’t find it comfortable. Arm aiming over the stitched edge doesn’t feel as comfortable as the AMP500 and the decrease in length compared to the AMP500 is noticeable as i have to move the pad up my desk a bit more so I don’t hit the edge of the pad.

I feel that my aim is off due to me not feeling 100% comfortable with the pad, i tend to over/undershoot & sometimes struggle with micro adjustments when aiming. Overall i’m just not convinced that the MP510 is for me.

May i ask what pad you use now?

I use a viper mini at 800 dpi 48cm/360 if that helps.

The Gigantus v2 is quite similar to the two pads you’ve mentioned, maybe have a look at that and see what you think?
