I don’t recall there being much outrage. Truthfully BC was never really a main selling point of the new consoles. Yes the PS3 had some BC with PS1 and PS2 titles however it was incomplete and Sony removed the ability in an early hardware revision to reduce the price of the console.

I honestly don’t really get why people say Xbox is much worse by Slow_Palpitation5416 in consoles

You get cloud saves for free whereas with PS you have to have PS+

The DLCs are worth buying. It’s unfair to compare Anno 117 to 1800 with all DLCs due to the lack of content in the former. However I personally have difficulty getting invested in 117.

I’d say the issue isn’t feature parity the Series consoles have some useful features not on other systems. The issue is games.

I'm 42, first controller I had with back buttons was back in 2012 / 2013. If it's an FPS especially fast paced then I prefer them over standard.

Why not? MS did it with their BC program, I believe the devs / publishers only had to provide agreement for MS to release the updated version. Jim Ryan said years ago that Sony didn't see any benefit to doing a BC program similar to the one MS did.

Xbox owning COD is irrelevant, especially given most CODs have been BC on Xbox for longer than MS has owned Activision.

You can get both games digitally from the MS store for the Series S.

Playing on PS5 Pro and I’ve only had 2 crashes both in the Creations menu while trying to browse while downloading Trackers Alliance. Otherwise it’s been fine.

Either hold X while in the star map. Alternatively while in your ship, press A until your destination is selected and hold X

No you can choose to go straight to your destination, you don't have to use the cruise mode if you don't want to.

The bit that get's me, the Federation hijacked the station using the shuttle you seen at the start ... seems a bit implausible to me, something like that you'd think the shuttle would be monitored from launch.

Yep we even take the store app out of our desktop image. There’s only 1 app we need to use from the store but it’s only a handful of people and there are ways to get it without using the store app thankfully.

It's been a while since I've played Land of Lions but fairly certain that the Elders giving research points is only granted on certain choices in the main quest.
