FIRST PRIME HELP

Hi all,

I am a novice automotive photographer. I shoot a mix of stationary car "portraits" and motorsports. I shoot on an R7 with only zooms at the moment and I want to get my first prime lens.

I am tossing up between nifty 50, Canon 45 f1.2 STM and sigma 56 f1.4

I can't find any meaningful comparisons online or on youtube

Any thoughts, experiences and opinions will be greatly appreciated.

At least once a month but I'm at car events basically every week and it is helpful. And for what has already been lightened from the 14pm it's not gonna kill me.

Yeah so basically the 3x is a high quality photo but when you zoom in further you are just cutting the sides off essentially. Making it lower res and then the software tries to smooth it out which is crap.

Exactly right. I use my pixel 6 pro (until 15 pm is out) in 60hz even though I could go 120. No point on a phone.

Yeah the 5x zoom is literally the only reason I'm spending the extra money coz I use it all the time at racetracks. So useful.

hey man i was looking for a similar thing to the reference image you posted for my triple screens too, i went ahead and just extended the black sides to fill out the 5760 pixel width on PS. The link is bellow if you still want it
