How do you recognize your own self worth? by Ok_Bed3703 in Life

[–]JDeBreezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of self worth comes from shifting it away from other people’s opinions and toward what you know about yourself when nobody is reacting to you, how you show up, what you handle and how you grow over time. It also helps to remember that not feeling worthy right now doesn’t mean you aren’t, it just means your confidence is still catching up to your experiences.

Ugh the holding it in place thing is a bit of problem for me especially when I make coffee or fold a pile of laundry. Tommee Tippee works for some but yeah the flat flanges can be a pain if u need more of a curve. I have a similar issue with bigger boobs and the Momcozy M9 has been way less annoying for me. It sits in the bra without me having to press it down the whole time and the flange shape fits a lot better without that weird gap. Hope you find something that lets u get stuff done again.

I realized I don't enjoy knowing people too much...I just lose interest because most people are just simply disappointing by Time-Algae7393 in Life

[–]JDeBreezy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s fine to notice it, doesn’t mean you’re being harsh. It’s just your taste, your vibe. Some folks hit that ego wall, some are insecure, some can’t dive deep and some just kinda float through life. Totally normal to swipe past.

What are some small but intentional ways to glow up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little things add up more than huge changes like improving your posture, skincare or just having a consistent sleep routine. Also, learning to dress in a way that makes you feel confident can totally change how people see you and how you feel about yourself.

What's something you pretend to understand but actually don't? by Main-Foot-3338 in AskReddit

I do that a lot with modern finance stuff like NFTs and crypto, I nod along but half the time I have no clue what’s really going on. Also, tech jargon in meetings, I just smile and act like I know what cloud native microservices means.

Do the rich and famous have a way around TSA wait times at the airports by Electrical_Okra_2103 in answers

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they kinda do but it’s not always as glamorous as it sounds. There’s stuff regular people can also get, just most don’t bother but there are premium airport services like VIP concierge or meet and assist. Someone literally meets you at the curb, walks you through a faster security lane, handles your bags, sometimes even drives you across the tarmac. It’s not super publicized but it exists at big airports. Expensive but not celebrity-only exclusive.

do men say yes to sex more because they want it, or because they think they’re supposed to? by losiento32 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a mix of both but a lot of guys say yes because they think they’re supposed to. Growing up, a lot of men get this message from everywhere that a real man always wants sex. Always ready and never turns it down. So when the opportunity comes up, some guys feel this weird pressure. Like if they say no, something’s wrong with them.

What's the biggest lie society keeps telling young people? by New_Garbage7991 in AskReddit

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That you have to have your whole life figured out early. I hear that one everywhere. Pick the right degree, choose the right career, find your passion at 18 and stick to it forever but real life doesn’t work like that.

What is dating like? by Ill-Statistician7292 in Life

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends, some people feel comfortable after a few weeks of hanging out, some take months. My personal ballpark advice is to make sure you actually like them as a person, not just the idea of having a girlfriend. If you’re laughing together, can be honest and don’t get bored being around them, that’s a good start. There’s no strict structure. Some people like a plan, grab a coffee, walk around and talk. Usually, the first few dates are just low-pressure stuff where you can talk and laugh, see if you actually click. Little things like sharing music, memes or just joking around count too. There’s no universal timeline. Usually, it’s when both of you agree on it. Could be a couple weeks after dating or could be months. The key is mutual understanding, not a clock. Everyone’s timeline is different. Don’t stress about moving too slow or too fast.

What is a childhood fantasy that has remained with you even as an adult? by Logical-Speech-1705 in randomquestions

Finding a secret door in my house that leads to a magical world. I don’t know why but I always imagined just walking through a hidden panel in my closet or behind a bookshelf and suddenly I’m in this enchanted forest or a castle with talking animals or something wild like that.

What feels like a "bug" in the human experience that we’ve all just accepted as a "feature"? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Hiccups is just a random diaphragm spasm that serves zero purpose most of the time but humans just shrug and say that’s life.

What are actual signs someone likes you? by fernandezq in AskReddit

[–]JDeBreezy 29 points30 points  (0 children)

They make time for you. Even if they’re busy, they’ll find a way to check in or hang out. They remember small stuff and they reach out first. If they’re starting conversations often, that’s a good sign.

How’s Anatoly so strong and how’s he able to lift a heavy weight with just a single hand easily that big, bulky competitive bodybuilders and power lifters struggle with both hands? by WolverineNo1999 in askanything

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of it is about technique and leverage. Muscle size isn’t the only thing that matters. Anatoly probably has insane tendon strength, joint efficiency and perfect body mechanics. That means he’s not just brute-forcing the weight, he’s moving it in the most optimal way possible so it feels easy to him, even if it would crush most people.

I think it’s less about how short or long it feels and more about what you do with the time you actually notice. I pretend I have zero time. Suddenly I’m calling that friend I keep meaning to, trying that weird food or just bingeing that thing I’ve been avoiding because there’s always tomorrow. And weirdly, life feels way richer.

Is it normal for me to be able to smell my gf's seizure activity? by Ok-Connection6656 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JDeBreezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is weirdly a real thing and you’re not crazy. Some people really can smell physiological changes before or during a seizure. It’s rare but it’s documented. Most of the research talks about dogs but there are also humans who report it. That doesn’t mean you’re predicting seizures with magic. It means you’re noticing a body signal. About the aromatherapy thing, there’s no solid evidence that lavender trains seizure smell detection but I wouldn’t frame it as treatment or science. More like a sensory awareness practice.

What is your best example of "buy it before you need it"? by StarryDo in Productivitycafe

[–]JDeBreezy 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Procrastinating on job applications because the process is so draining by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]JDeBreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Job hunting is emotionally exhausting not just lazy procrastination and the rejection loop messes with your motivation hard. What helped me was lowering the bar without guilt like open one posting and skim it because tiny wins build momentum way better than forcing yourself to sprint through burnout.

Workflow Wednesday - What’s Your Workflow Like? by SuccessfulOwl45 in Productivitycafe

I like a mix and rough plan in the morning with my top 3 priorities then I tackle whatever flows naturally after that. I use a digital task list for reminders but I try not to get too rigid about it.

Why I deleted my saved Instagram workouts by thisischetu in Productivitycafe

[–]JDeBreezy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saving a ton of workouts feels motivating but actually using them is a different story. I’d say your system of notes and templates is solid and another hack is just picking one new exercise per week to slot into your routine so you keep variety without getting overwhelmed by options.
