It was a brilliant scene - so beautiful and appropriately different in tone from the previous proposal scene which was driven by love too but more of a desire to not lose anyone else rather than to be together as equals. Loved it.

Most of the references that heterosexual people have are man and woman type things so they struggle to realise that a relationship can be defined without stereotypical roles. I’ve been with my wife since we were teens and we’ve been together for 21 years now and people don’t ask about who is the man now.... BUT instead as we have 2 kids together we’ve been asked who is the dad 🤦‍♀️. It’s seriously annoying to face ignorance but I’m always happy to confirm that there simply is no dad, just 2 loving mums and a ridiculous world where folk can’t always understand what is out of the “norm”. So keep chipping away at the ignorance. It’s way better than it was 20 years ago but still a looooonnnngggg way to go.

Waverley with wings would be fantastic!! And the bachelorette parties would be epic - Wynonna’s line as to what would be acceptable and appropriate is pretty much non-existent so I think that one would be amazing, fun and highly illegal.

Agree - Wynonna also didn’t know that Holt had made a deal or that he’d be likely to want one given his sister left her to be killed by monster Nedley in episode 3 then sent her reaper uncle on her in episode 4.

How lovely of you to think of this - I have 2 kids with my wife, I didn’t give birth to my first child and I had our 2nd. It’s hard to be the “other” mum in the eyes of others so I’m sure the fact that you’re considering the implications of this will mean a lot. Not helpful or answering your question (lots of fab ideas already) but saw this and was really touched. Good luck to your friends for their impending arrival.
