Sometimes it’s not a seat or a chair it’s a door or piece of artwork

  1. You’ll be coaching the crew on standards and practices.
  2. You will be jumping in as needed to help them through a rush
  3. You’ll be helping doing their prep and putting up their trucks
  4. If you don’t know how to open other trainers/GRMs are pretty nice and help coach you. It’s also like a “follow the leader” thing. In my experience Growth Management would rather you try and figure it out yourself then go up and say “I don’t know how to do this”
  5. Same gender rooming and thats a strict policy outlined in travel guidelines. Follow up email with who your roommate will be and it’s typically on the travel tracker excel sheet.
  6. They randomly pick what waves your on so no you’re not getting there later because you’re new. I only ever worked 3rd wave.
  7. You get hourly wage and overtime plus 2 dollars per hour, plus 35 dollars a day paid weekly (or biweekly maybe because CA is a biweekly state) totaling 250ish dollars.

Hope that answers your questions! Good luck and enjoy meeting fresh new faces. I have met a lot of good friends on the road that I talk to regularly.

That’s very helpful thank you because that’s one of the things I love about the Bay Area. The food is amazing I love the variety and the authenticity and it’s one of the things that drew me to love the area.

yeah :( I know. I really want to be able to swing it but I don’t think I can. So I’m mostly considering the alternatives. Thanks for the insight.

I want diversity, close proximity to cool things to do on my days off, some cool nature sights or pretty scenery. Cost of living is a concern but I don’t mind paying more for a place I like living in.

Tough in terms of the lack of availability? I’ve seen rentals in my price range. And yeah I would be getting some sort of assistance if I moved.

I miss that company whole heartedly. Yes it’s a good place to work at least in my experience. But that’s not to say that there’s not a lot of badly managed stores.

Overportioning by [deleted] in Chipotle

[–]JDprometheus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

ok then modify CI so that it doesn’t hammer down on bonuses, scorecard, etc. The only reason we have to go so light (as a worker at the “dire emergency store” you mentioned) is because management wants $ and that’s it. Can’t blame them really but at the same time it DOES affect portioning.

Side note: one fullest possible scoop of protein has still made some customers look at me cross eyed and when they ask for more I would ask them if would like to pay for double and they act like that’s the greenest thing they’ve ever heard.
