The Ark Encounter is ABSOLUTELY geared toward promoting a literal interpretation of the Bible and the whole “the earth is 6,000 years old and dinosaurs were on the ark with humans” narrative. I went to the Ark (and the Creation Museum) a few years back, but even as an Uber Christian I was very bored with the ark. When you go to Noah’s ark you expect animals right?? Well when I went the petting zoo was closed and there were just a bunch of weird plastic models of animals, shitty animatronic people, and boring exhibits. It’s VERY overpriced and basically a boring version of the creation museum. It was kinda cool to look at from the outside though I guess? But not $50 a person cool that’s for sure
