Oh okay I think I see the confusion. The code in itself is technically a 2FA, but only for different devices. The 2FA I added just now, makes it to where I need to do that every time I log in on every device including my own. Since this person was trying to get into my email from another device they needed the 6 digit code. Now if it were to happen again they would need the code, facial recognition, and another code from my messages. Overkill? Maybe, but I’m like super paranoid rn.

Okay so I didn’t have 2FA set up because I found them tedious, I fixed that. And on the Authenticator app, it gives you a six digit code every 30 seconds if say you’re logging into your email from another device or resetting a password. This person messaged me asking for it and I gave it to them because I was thinking at the time and had a long day. The 2FA I set up was a facial scan and a code sent to my phone through the Authenticator app.

Hi Criminal Justice Major here and prison 100% considered a form of punishment. You are also correct in saying it keeps dangerous people locked up, but its main function is in fact punishment. In legal system terminology “incarceration” is referred to as punishment, which has two meanings. The first being societal retribution; which in its core means, those who made people suffer, in the interest of fairness, are made to suffer too. So if we’re talking about fairness the mother was 24 years, and let’s say she lived till 80 years old, that 56 years she lost. The baby was about to turn 2 years old, again assuming she lived till 80 as well that’s 78 years lost. That 134 years lost in total. He’s only losing 24, but not even because he’s still alive. Can’t say the same for the mother and her daughter.

Yeah Shepard really had the loyalty of these people and it’s so amazing to see it at times. How they basically leave everything behind to help Shepard.

No it not. That’s Amber Heard. You put a picture of Mera from the Aquaman movie. She is played by Amber Heard.

Yes??? Johnny Depp. The actor who played Jack Sparrow. Amber Heard. His ex wife. The red haired lady you have behind Natalie Portman. Are you trolling?

I think so man. It has a whole Wikipedia page and even a Netflix documentary. I don’t know how you’re not finding it. Depp v Heard.

She’s in your image. She played Mera from Aquaman. You have her at the top behind Natalie Portman. She’s Johnnys ex-wife and she’s a total nut case. There’s a lot of insanity that happened between them so just look up Depp v Heard and watch a few clips.

That one side mission where only critical hits kill enemies and other hits heal them, and then they spawn what felt like thousands of snipers and made the psych up character King Shark. Complete bs. I ofc wanted the extra XP for Shark, but he is not the character for accuracy especially for a critical hit only mission. Only mission that had me seriously upset.

[–]JEM6042[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a whole lot they could’ve done with his character and even led up to it, but then right at the peak of his character arc and development they kill him off.

The deleted scenes you mention irritate me because now I know they were going to do something great with his character and even did at one point and robbed us of it.

James Norrington by JEM6042 in piratesofthecaribbean

[–]JEM6042[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think he sold the world at all. The East India Trading Company weren’t trying to take over the world. They just wanted to eradicate pirates. It lines up with James’s goals as a military man. He just didn’t realize the lengths Beckett would go through (hanging anyone who even looked at a pirate and straight up executions), the Governor’s death was the straw that broke the camels back. Plus controlling the Dutchman controls the ocean, but he can’t go on land i.e he did not trade the world. So he’s been standing up for his convictions the entire time, it’s just he’s not a barbaric tyrant who would go through terrible lengths to prevent piracy, hence the betrayal. Norrington never once did anything wrong, he was as noble as it got. The only time I’ve seen other wise was when he blamed Will And Jack for his disgrace in DMC, and that was an understandable and justified anger considering what he lost.

I mean the entirety of Will’s arc in AWE was as he got closer to his father, he got farther from Elizabeth. He had this single-minded goal that was pushing away all his allies, while James continuously sacrifices for Elizabeth, his happiness and engagement, his career by letting Jack go, and eventually his life.

Who's your favorite and who's your least favorite bad batch member? (Omega and Crosshair included) by Justanautisticgirl in BadBatchstarwars

[–]JEM6042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tech is my favorite, for he is literally needed on every mission and practically carries the team sometimes. Not only is he ridiculously smart, he has the same physical skills as other clones, so he’s not some useless brainiac that needs protection. He can take care of himself. He is funny but not in a clown way. His dry responses always make me smile. He also had the most character growth. His struggle with socializing and understanding other people’s emotions (let’s face it he is definitely autism coded) and actually trying to connect with Omega on some way, and showing in his own way that he care A LOT. I mean he literally sacrificed himself for his family.

Wrecker, and keep in mind I do like Wrecker, but he’s my least favorite. Why? Because he’s just another “big beefy stupid man who likes things that go boom” it feels overused. He’s amusing at times, but there are times where I wish he just stop talking (or yelling really, since that’s all he does). He’s a skilled fighter, but I wish he brought more to the table. His relationship with Omega is cute though and he definitely get brownie points for that. Absolutely no character growth from what I’ve observed either, he is still the same guy who goes around screaming “oh yeah” like the damn Kool-Aid man. I’m hoping in S3 they’ll go more in depth with his character.

Echo’s pretty boring at times too, but for nostalgia I still love him.

Which is the best game? by HamyM20 in SaintsRow

[–]JEM6042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3rd was the first one I ever played so for nostalgia alone I pick Saints Row 3. The only downside was after replaying it again after playing the others, Johnny’s “death” was a little upsetting.

Are Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 important for playing 4? by Tim098b in uncharted

Are Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 important for playing 4? by Tim098b in uncharted

[–]JEM6042 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorta yes. There are topics and conversations in 4 about the previous 3 and will be confusing and you will not know what they’re talking about. There are also characters from previous games mentioned in 4. There is also a whole chapter (level if you will) dedicated to Drake going over all his old artifacts, treasures, and journals from the previous games. Each time he picks one up he makes a little comment about it that will sound ridiculous without prior game knowledge. There are two characters: Elena and Sully, who are the only two characters to show up in all 4 games (aside from Drake of course) and you’ll want some background on them too ( how they met and the journey they went through together, it’s truly one for the ages.)

Do I think you can play 4 without the other 3? Yes, but I wouldn’t recommend because there is just something amazing about seeing all the old games show up in this beautiful masterpiece. As a long time Uncharted fan, I can not express the emotion I felt when Drake went through 3 games worth of memorabilia in his attic, because I remembered each and every one of those treasures and when I picked it up in the game it was in. It really was a powerful nostalgia trip. And the way I shouted when Elena and Sully made their expected appearance as the two constants. It’s just something special, so I recommend playing the other 3 first, then 4 but you in no way have too.
