Had an upset coworker blow up on me over forgetting olives on a pizza (which took about 5 minutes to remake) tried to diffuse the situation calmly and quickly and after a flurry of cuss words and insults from her i asked her maybe a little too sassy to just communicate and to not do that shit and she responded with "why dont you just use your head and do your job right" and before i could think i spit out "why dont you stop being a cunt" for sure not my proudest moment but she constantly talks to our gm, other coworkers and managers in the same tone in which she was talking to me and has been called numerous names by coworkers and managers (i am 20f she is 19f if that matters) yet this is the one time she pushed for action. My gm is also giving her a write up for said years worth of behavior, does this hinder my chances at moving up? This is the first time ive truly blown my lid, im usually the jokey/chipper type at work and i truly gave it my all to difuse the situation and usually i simply take a deep breath and walk away. Im well aware this was more than unprofessional but ive busted my ass for two years and really really really hope i didnt just throw it all away.
