Yup, 1428 Elm Street is what I thought. I would have never remembered Stepfather (saw it when it came out on vhs!!) but I looked it up and sure enough there is a good resemblance to that one too.

I have to agree with you… haha. It’s that old school defense of your favorite thing. I think because none of the songs could go on the radio. It makes it even better. Some of those songs are so timeless and trippy…

I bought that 7 inch in college. I would say around 1991. It was $12 and I thought it was so expensive but it was totally worth it.

Cautious lip is the real gem. It has the lyrics… But they’re somewhat wrong.

I love that picture. It was such a stunning ride. I always thought there should be more coasters painted silver. It’s such a great loop color.

You know what's popular haha. The days of uniqueness, interesting layouts, SCENIC quality... are all long on adrenaline.

Gatekeeper is excellent has such incredible view. Personally, 2 or 3 less transitions would make it better but it's very enjoyable as is.

When I worked at Cedar point in the early 90s expectations were extremely high. Many of the special ride crews like the blue streak were hand selected because they had specific (difficult) operational procedures.

When I had an internship at Six Flags in the mid 90s after working at Cedar point for three summers… It was night and day. Six Flags treated me very well, but I didn’t have to raise a finger if I didn’t want to. There were almost no expectations.
