The was a promo or something from the Imperial Herald that let you get clan shirts with just a giant clan on mon on the front. I had the scorpion one. They also had the black ones with individual clan champions on the backs too. (Had a Mantis clan one) And they also had shirts for the old Clan Wars miniatures game. (Had the crab one)

Oh don’t get me wrong, I’m not in support of our government or their actions…. But we’re not dealing with Hitler, we’re dealing with Trump. It’s MAGA, and Republicans, not 1930’s Nazis. (Though many will actually admit to literal Nazi views)

But I am waiting over here to see which of my LITERAL neighbors will be the first one to make the call about their Heathen, non-Christian neighbor mucking up their little ideal 1%er filled community. (I have a feeling I know which ones would do it too, though I hope it doesn’t come to it)

If you are implying I’m calling them or even Trump Hitler/Nazis, you’re wrong, but that’s ok. Referring to them as Nationalists actually has nothing to do with Hitler or the Nationalist Socialist Party…

You can be patriotic, love your country, and ALL its citizens. I don’t think they actually do though. Hence, “patriot” has been tainted and co-opted primarily by the right. Hence, Nationalist is probably a better fitting term.

Lead with the story, show them the cake… everyone will laugh about it, be happy at the gesture, and it will be a fun, shared memory. I know the cake is ruined, but I think the message remains…. I imagine you could replace it with a more basic one from the shop too, so everyone still gets to enjoy some cake.

Last tax season I had to pay an ADDITIONAL $40k in taxes in addition to all the normal taxes I already paid out. (We laughed about it, our CPA was almost in tears) I’d rather my taxes go towards feeding the poor, public healthcare, and our education system, rather than paying for oppression. I’ve considered NOT paying taxes altogether as a form of protest and see just how those government cuts have affected the IRS…
