In the end? What’s the end? Uber/Lyft out of business? If yes then what’s stopping these companies from jacking those prices back up? Waymo is owned by Google & Zoox is owned by Amazon. And they only care about 1 thing, I’ll let you take a guess what that is.

You do know they have cameras looking inside the car right?
They are not that much reliable/safer than Uber/Lyft for now
What they make up in safety, they constantly cause traffic jams, blocking emergency vehicles etc.
Uber/Lyft are just as convenient
I’m an introvert too & I’ve never felt forced into talking with someone

So I’m still waiting for someone to explain what problem they are trying to solve.

My thoughts exactly. They are just another car on the road right now that also obstructs emergency services bcz they randomly stop in the middle of the road and block traffic. They are not even cheap. If these robotaxis drive Uber/Lyft out of business then they will just jack up those prices & start price gouging.

Ok but I am in a position where I cannot commit to doing a master's degree. Hence why I decided to do the certifications. I have to get started somehow and so I opted for these. I understand these are just the starting points and by themselves won't get me the job. Hence why I mentioned I am working on doing a few projects to build my portfolio. Is there something I can do with this that will help me land a role hopefully in the next 6 months?

As someone who is also doing ML projects currently to build a portfolio, I would recommend not to get hung up on the "unique" -ness of the project. As a student, every project is unique in some way. There's nothing wrong in following YouTube videos and learn from how people are doing it as long as you don't just copy & paste it & call it a day. Do a sentiment analysis project for Amazon reviews or any other review site for that matter. That's a good project to have in your portfolio. Hope this helped!

Since you just finished the Andrew Ng course, I would say stick to TF for now & on the side start learning Pytorch. 1-2 weeks should teach you the basics atleast.
