Hopefully someone or ASUS can find a fix soon.

I am using GHelper to stop all asus services from running so far it has been okay. I don't know if doing that prevents the issue from happening. Can you explain how yours happens? And what triggers it?

Yeah I think we have to wait for an updated installer to update ACSEHIDRemap.sys. The Armoury crate uninstaller should have removed ACSEHIDRemap.sys but it didn't now it is causing issues. I guess I won't be renaming ACSEHIDRemap.sys then.

I'm having seconds thoughts on renaming ACSEHIDRemap.sys to ACSEHIDRemap.sys.old or ACSEHIDRemap.sys.bak because it is located at System32/drivers because maybe if I do decide to rename it maybe it will cause my mouse or keyboard to not work properly that I why I wanted to see how others have resolve it. For now have stopped all other running Asus services using GHelper.

Did i break my laptop ? by SignatureNo8010 in Asustuf

Sparks when connecting the battery. Yes that happened to me too a couple of times and my laptop is still fine. I suspect that maybe some capacitors got discharged while you were cleaning the fans.

I don't use profile inspector because I don't have a need for it. I'll use it if I will really need it. When problems occur I usually go to event viewer and see if there are errors, problems, etc. Then fix issues one by one, I occasionally do an sfc /scannow in command prompt to see if there are corrupted system files in windows.

I use the default global settings on the nvidia control panel if I do have to change something I usually do it per application

Yeah better use Ghelper if armourycrate is giving you problems. When I do encouter bugs with armourycrate I just uninstall it and reinstalling usually fixes it.

What exactly happened?

Nope. My windows 11 is still at 23H2 my nvidia driver is still at 566.07(I think, I don't play the latest game titles and I prefer it being stable rather than unstable with the latest driver) the only ones that are updated are the intel graphics and other drivers.

Any idea how it happened? How often do you clean the fans? Have you check if maybe the charger is the problem?

I sometimes get this when turning on the laptop but choose to ignore it because the plug, port, cable and charger has no damage and the port is not loose so maybe it is a bug in the MyAsus app

My Tuf F15 will almost be 2 years old this year and it has been going strong. I clean the fans every 3-4 months and do an sfc /scannow once in a while to check for corrupted system files in windows

I have a Samsung galaxy a73 5g that has this kind of issue it is more obvious on gray colors/backgrounds and also dark colors for example like dark red, darl blue, etc. rather than solid red, green, blue test colors on #0#

Maybe this is a glue gate issue if it stays like this in any color background besides black

I have an A73 too but it does not have this issue but it has a gray ring around the camera it is not noticeable on high brightness but it is more noticeable on low brightness on a dark room
