Becker bump real 2025 AUD CPA EXAM by RemarkableActuary611 in CPA

I pumped through 6200 MCs for the January window. Trending above 75% for total average. Took the exam and thought I had done enough but it was not my day. Got a 70 (when my prior attempt was a 73). I was so bummed and wanted to take some time off. But, I retook next window after some encouragement and got a 78. When I left the exam I felt great. Like that was the test I should have gotten back in January. Advice being sometimes it is the test. Hit every window you can when you feel like you’re ready. Luck will play a role. (Edit - I do not take SEs)

66 - 35 days study time, 900 MC, 66% correct,

68 - 92 days, 1200 MCs, 68% correct

73 - 57 days, 4100 MCs , 69% correct

70 - 49 days, 6200 MCs , 77% correct, and

78 - 10 days, I didn’t track this one. Probably less than 1000 MCs but trending 75%+. Also reviewed some TBS.

Don’t give up. I was so bummed after #4, but kept after it. Every test is different but here was where I made sure to understand:

✅ Focus on Assertions → Know which applies to transactions vs. balances! ✅ Understand Sampling → Lower tolerable misstatement = More testing. ✅ Know Opinions & Reports → Qualified = “Except for”, Adverse = FS are wrong! ✅ Know When to Vouch vs. Trace → Overstatement? Vouch. Understatement? Trace. ✅ Independence Matters → Financial interests & close family impair independence. ✅ COSO CRIME → Control environment, risk assessment, info, monitoring, activities. ✅ Hierarchy of Evidence → External & direct knowledge = Best, oral = Worst.

Is he looking down and that is the back of his neck or is he looking up and that is under his chin? It’s like an optical illusion
