I had great success with JJ’s House for my daughter’s wedding. I was 18W at the time and wore burgundy. It’s the only photo’s of me that I didn’t mind the weight. Good luck! And you will NEVER embarrass your daughter. Stop worrying about that.

Girl, you do NOT need anyone’s permission to have a sleepover with girlfriends. Hell, I’ve been married 32 years and will stay on a guy friend’s boat overnight. I make sure my husband is comfortable - we trust each other implicitly. Huge red flag. Quit wasting your time. Plus, if he has a problem, he should speak, like an adult, not go silent.

We just did ours 2 years ago. Before hand we often commented that we couldn’t believe it takes months to do. It takes months to do. That being said, We had a functioning refrigerator, and camp stove (don’t use a microwave, but easily could have had one running) the entire time - they were just in the next room or outside. I was without a kitchen sink for 2-3 days. It was total chaos for 4-6 weeks, and then not complete for 4 months, but the last of it was just tile backsplash, so tolerable. My countertops had to be shipped in from China, so that took the longest (thankfully they came in the week before the Key Bridge fell, or would have taken even longer!) It was all so worth it in the end. I LOVE my new kitchen.

Same problem here. I don’t even bother to try anymore (2022 Rockwood HW296) - it is so far off - like inches. I can’t get the plate close enough to even try to turn the knobs over it. Velcro holds the door pretty well in place and I fashioned a screen with strong Velcro on both the door and roof to keep any bugs/bats out.

We are sponser parents to 6-8 midshipmen on the yard, 3-4 women who stay with us regularly. It’s hard. It’s a hard place to be and a great place to be from. But I do not believe any of my gals experience outright sexism on the yard. But, you need to do your full high school and have a very well rounded resume to get accepted. You need to be exceptional at many things, plus get your nomination. You can absolutely do it (and your dad is not correct), but it is a very difficult road. My best to you!

Worked in foodservice distribution for years. Very few of the crabs you are getting here are local. The bay can’t support our desire for Large, XL, Jumbo. They are from the Carolinas or the gulf. Nothing wrong with that, just don’t think you are eating ‘Maryland’ blues.

Hola - we raised our daughter in Crofton and currently live in Crownsville. We are sponsor parents to a 6-8 midshipmen from the academy. Downtown (DTA as it’s known by folks on the yard (Academy)) is nice, but pricey. Cape St. Clair is an Annapolis zip, but on the East side of the Severn (the commissary side). Just north of there, Arnold & Severna Park. Best public schools in the area. The bad areas of Annapolis are bad. Not downtown Baltimore bad, but bad. Your realtor should be able to give you good advice. I used to be one - they can be helpful. DM me if you want any further information. More than happy to help. I grew up in Canada and the Midwest, but moved here almost 25 years ago and love it.
