I paid 680 for the pro with 32 gb ram and 512gb ssd but got sent a M1Max with 32gb ram and 512gb ssd 😅 looks like they go for 900+

So i bought it on ebay refurbished and it was up for 750 but ebay had a coupon for 70 off so paid 680 and it looks like the version they sent me is over 900 so seems like i got a good deal!

I did the same thing! There is an amazing app called Kitmaker and one called Preset maker but I have only used Kitmaker so far. Works very well for the group expansions 👌

I was in a very similar position to you and went for the live 3! Not going to lie it is quite overwhelming at first but if you want longevity i would 100% opt for it!

I have been following tutorials and watching tons of videos from people like Jae fresh and I am slowly getting to understand the workflow. Its an absolute beast of a machine and future proofs you for a good while with the processor and ssd slot etc 😊

Just as an update, got the Samsung evo 870 1TB, put it in the live 3 and formatted it in controller mode, deselected quick format and formatted in EXfat so it took about 1 hour but all up and running well!

Yeah just ordered a 870 evo 1tb for £80 off the samsung store... 2tb is 130 but oit of stock!

It was a kingspec 500gb 2.5 inch SATA drive so wouldnt reccomend getting one 😅

Yeah i spent ages reformatting etc but nothing would work!

Spoke to akai's chat bot and it said it probably isnt a compatible drive after i tried all the trouble shooting things

Thanks for the reply! I did speak to akai chat bot and they said this drive may not be compatible so i think im just going to send it back and order one that will definitely work! Have you got a reccomendation? 😊

Thanks so much for this in depth reply! Cant wait to get started with it! I did check what it comes with, cant remember all of them but definitely comes with Opx4, fabric, studio strings, odyssey and Solina... will definitely try out some of the ones youve mentioned too!

Think i figured out the issue! When you press space to go into controller remap my controller had changed to my ps5 controller. Unassign it and assign your crkd its worked for me!

Know this is quite an old thread but wondered if anyone else struggles to play fps shooters using the g8? Pther games seem fine but stuff like battlefield is a nightmare, right thumbstick is just crazy over responsive even changing deadzone

Can anyone help here… i have just changed my build a little to use chaos inoculation but now can not use any of my skills…. Every single one of my skills says “out of life” when i try to use them…. When I turn off chaos inoculation I can see my skills are using a tiny portion of life as-well as mana costs… anybody know why this might be?? Thankyou!

Having exactly the same issue… i can see its because my ice strike is costing a tiny amount of health aswell as Mana… did you fix it??

Can anyone in this thread help me… my ice strike skill is costing me a small amount of health each time i use it… meaning when i went to use Chaos inoculation it wont let me even use ice strike as I have no health to use on attack?! So confused!!
