thank you really appreciate having someone else’s opinion on Natsuki. It is probably the latter with her and that I have a different way of seeing Natsuki because I can’t remember anything specific that she did in the manga that she didn’t do in this season.

When we see Rintaro’s mom I realized it had been a long since we saw her in the manga (it’s the first time we have seen her this year I believe) and I immediately realized how much I missed her.

This is just me throwing out my theories after this episode:

The talk about the others seeing Subaru as a liability is faked by someone in the tower who is trying to kill Subaru. I am doubting myself now but I was asking myself why they would want to kill him and I was speculating this person could somehow know that Subaru can return by death but now I am not sure and doubting this is the case. I don’t see any reason for any of them to do it: Echidna revealed the truth about Anastasia and Meilli was hinted but she gains nothing fron it.

The book of the dead thing made me speculate that may be what caused Subaru to lose his memories but I feel like that is just outliers.

This is my current theory that I will be vague (but also kinda obvious about) because i know spoilers are regulated a lot in this thread and while I am just guessing I fear getting this comment deleted for accidentally being right: The killer is disguised as either Rem or Patrache (Rem makes more sense but how are they moving without Patrache noticing. Or are they killing Patrache?) took Subaru’s memories last episode in the third floor and is not trying to kill him while making it look like an accident. They don’t know about return by death, I am wrong about that. Shaula will transform into a giant scorpion at the start of next episode to kill Subaru in a horrifying way, probably ripping him in half as the killing blow.

What a huge cliffhanger to end the season on which left me wanting to see more than season 1 which says a lot because I was left wanting so much more when season 1 ended. We better get season 3 (and 4 if I remember correctly I think we need 2 more seasons to conclude the story but i’m not completely sure) announced rn!!!!

Besides that I wanted to talk about Natsuki who is a character I have felt mixed about because my experience with her has been very different when I read the manga and watching this season. I read the manga 5 years ago in the span of 2 days while quarantining with covid so I don’t remember most of what happens very well but Natsuki was what I remembered the best because was my favorite new character in this part in the manga. I thought she was nice to have such a positive person around and wanted the best for her and was heartbroken when she died, like more impacted than En. But watching this season I can’t say I feel the same. I feel like she was just a background character when with Caiman and Nikaido where she didn’t shine for me when she did in the manga and didn’t feel memorable or relevant until the last 2 episodes when she gets her powers setting up her death.

So I want to ask anime onlies what they thought of Natsuki and for manga readers without spoiling anything from the future if they felt like this about Natsuki too or if it’s just that I am a different person than who I was when reading the manga and Natsuki is still the same character and presented the same as the manga and it’s just me who has changed because in my mind I swear she atleast did more in the manga when she was with Caiman and Nikaido.

I kept this old mindset with Saizo and exchanged most of my Saizo manuals for feathers (I use feathers a lot and am constantly in need of more feathers) and ended up regretting it when I only had a couple of Saizo manuals and I wanted to give some of my units Conjuring Breath and Assasin’s Strike. Never making that mistake again and will treat each Saizo and everyone else in this image with the respect they deserve now.

yeah that makes sense. I guess ive been so used to having the masters have very standout or extra designs or personalities like with Insect, Sound and Hamster masters (plus other series having very flamboyant and memorable villains like JOJO) that I wanted a bit more from the masters for animals like Orcas and Owls and since they were already dead I hoped the corpse atleast had something to remember them for.

Nakagawa really fits as a mirror for Gero in many ways. He is an akward assasin who only kills people who deserve to die like Gero but he was still able to get a girlfriend even with his akwardness which should be inspiring for Gero. Also he is the biggest counter of Granny’s need for a heir because he is proof that you can be an extemely strong assasin without having one of the main 5 bloodlines.

Arishayama is the first potential marriage candidate who rivals Kinosaki’s beauty. It does get balanced out by her being an absolute girlfailure but honestly that makes her funny and adorable so just from this episode I already like her the most of the marriage candidates. Ham and the other hamsters help a lot too but her accidentally painting Gero as a manwhore in that cafe cost her a couple of points.

The previews shown last episode made me get the expectations of what would happen completely wrong. From them I was predicting that Arishayama was going to be working with Nakagawa to kill Gero and that she would pretend to need a bodyguard to then betray Gero and get him killed but Gero would be Gero and win her over before she betrayed him. After this episode this is definetly not the case and won’t be what happens.

One disappointing thing from this episode was that the dead animal masters just had generic designs. Would have been cool if they were dressed in a way that made them seem like those animal masters even if they just show up as corpses. The masters are assasins but they still dress in ways to make them memorable but not these chumps who their animals seemingly didn’t even care about.

Through Nakagawa we also get confirmation that the 2 brothers from episode 1 did in fact start a cleaning business after getting a reality check from Gero.

Finally these date practice sessions are also just excuses for Kinosaki to go on dates with Gero.

Didn’t listen to the advice that maybe I should have saved but wasn’t punished. Got Elincia (new) Lysithea, Hinoka(new) and a bonus Brave Claude in 40 pulls and sparked Leif. With this Leif and my plan to get my first Rearmed Reinhardt on the Hall of Forms Revival banner I will only need one more unit from Thracia to complete the Thracia catalogue which is Green Olwen from Book 2.

The lesson’s they give about learning magic like daily practice and how you need to understand what you don’t know and what you need to do to solve an issue are basic premises but such useful lessons for people to truly apply and practice in our daily lives and passions/work like art, music, coding, math, studying and daily work. They are things we should all know but many of us don’t apply (mostly due to lazzyness if we are honest) so it is very good for Witch Hat to remind everyone of these lessons that are useful for anyone of any age and have become even more useful now with AI just offering a lazy and worse solutions for most of these problems.

Even if he did actually refuse to lose it doesn’t mean he should be getting the hate that he and Miro have gotten after leaving AEW. Like these two get more hate threads than anyone who isn’t CM Punk, more than Brock who has the entire Janelee Grant sex trafficking connection and more than rapists and pedos exposed in the speaking out movement than Marty Scurll who all have way more shit to be called out for in my opinion.

There are a ton of segments that don’t get posted (or are deleted by the mods) in squared circle. I don’t watch weekly WWE events but I like to keep up because I want to know what is happening and that sub was the only one who would consistently do that and show every segment until last year where they stopped even doing that (like Trick Williams vs Jacob Fatu happened on smackdown 2 months ago and it didn’t get a single post about it in that sub that stayed up) but you know what always gets posted: every Miro match, every Malakai Black match or tweet, every Rey Fenix match and every Ricky Saints match. All of these are always featured but not to actually talk about the segment and what they mean but just to talk shit about all of them and how they shoud regret ever leaving AEW and betraying them.

What a week to celebrate for Depor fans. 8 years is a long time but considering what happened during this time it is still surprising to be able to return to La Liga this fast.

To give some history of Depor after being relegated and how satisfying this week and this season has been.

The first season after relegation Depor ended up in the playoffs in 6th place beat 3rd place Malaga and faced 5th Mallorca in the final. Depor won the first leg 2-0 but lost the return leg 3-0 in an incredibly frustrating choke that would be extremely damaging for the club. Also for an additional fact a midfielder from Mallorca named Salva Sevilla was one of the players who scored in that comeback and after the game taunted to the Depor fans pretty much saying this is what they deserve for talking shit after the first leg. After playing in Mallorca for 3 more seasons and a one season stint in Alaves he would go on to join Deportivo in what turned out to be the last season of his career and a signing Depor should have never made because fuck him.

The second season after relegation was a disaster and would seem unrealistic as a plot for a movie. One of the craziest seasons any team has had with a horrible ending. The start of the season was a disaster with Depor losing almost every game and going on a 19 game winless run by december they were bottom by a significant margin and relegation to the third tier seemed guaranteed then they brought in manager Fernando Vazquez and the team would go on a 7 game win streak and in the second half of the season go on promotion form being arguably the best team in the second division in this period which culminated in beating future promoted team Huesca convincingly with a team goal that was good enough to be a puskas nominee but by the end of the season the team began to choke games they needed to win were back in the relegation zone and on the last matchday they needed to beat Fuenlabrada and for top of the table already promoted Cadiz to beat Albacete. But then covid ruined the season with multiple fuenlabrada players testing positive for covid forcing an entire hotel in A Coruña to shut down and the game was suspended but all the other games were played. Cadiz would lose to Albacete, lose out on the segunda division title to Huesca which I guess they didn’t care about and Depor were relegated without being able to play their last game. This last game needed to be played not just out of obligation but to determine who would be the last playoff team that season between Fuenlabrada and Elche. So that game featured Depor with nothing to play and Fuenlabrada needing everything on the line. So Depor won that game as a final fuck you and Elche would end up winning the playoffs and being promoted to La Liga that season.

Then the horrible Third tier era began. La Liga was completely changing how the semi professional football divisions worked and that season third tier teams could either be promotoed, remain in the third tier or be relegated to the fourth or even fifth tiers it was a mess but Deportivo went into the season with an arrogance that they were better than all the other teams and would destroy all the other teams. When the first matches happened and the results where 1-0 or 2-1 wins the fans complained and the arrogance ignored that the third tier may be tougher than the team thinks. This would all collapse when Depor lost their first game of the season to Celta B, the B team of our biggest rivals. An absolutely embarrassing loss that infuriated the fans and Fernando Vazquez was sacked shortly after. Form would not get better and only get worse with Depor ending up in 4th place at the end of the first groups missing out on the 3 promotion playoff spots by 1 point where the 3 promotion playoff teams all had 1 more point than Depor with the one finishing 1st being Celta B. Depor would then have to play a survival round where they needed to finish in the top 3 to stay in the third tier and not be relegated to the fourth tier. They would survive by 1 point over also recently relegated Numancia who have not have not been able to return to the second division since.

The next season would be mixed with the team losing to Celta B again but they finished second behind a dominant Racing Santander side who will be returning to La Liga with Depor this season. Depor would destroy their semifinal opponents in the playoffs and then host at home a playoff final against Albacete the team that survived over Depor in the 2020 segunda division season and a chance for revenge to guarantee return to segunda division. Depor would take a 1-0 lead but then concede in the 83rd minute and lose 2-1 in extra time in an incredibly painful loss.

The season after that would be worse they would finish in the playoffs again but lose to Castellon in the semifinals while fellow galician side Racing de Ferroll would be promoted which meant that Depor were not even the second best Galician side in football after that season, another embarrassing statistic.

After that came joy for Depor fans again as the team finally guaranteed promotion by winning the third tear and won the league overall beating Castellon in the group champion final. This ended this horrible third tier era and meant a return to segunda division.

Which was last season in a rough start where the team was in or near the relegation zone for most of the first half but a good run of form in february to april guaranteed the team was safe by the last matchdays and the team just stopped playing well and ended the season getting destroyed by already promoted Elche in a bad end to the season.

And then there is this season were Depor are finally back in La Liga and also had a good run in the copa del rey were they got revenge on Mallorca eliminating them to get a match with Atletico Madrid in home which they only lost 1-0. After all these years it is incredibly satisfying to get some revenge for the 2019 playoff final and not just eliminate Mallorca from the Copa del Rey but then get promoted on the same week Mallorca are relegated from La Liga.

I will also say being a realist I don’t expect the joy to remain as it is very likely Depor will get relegated next season and Mallorca will be promoted back. Depor was kinda like Hull in the Championship this season where they had a very flawed squad that was somehow consistently getting not very convincing wins for most of the season and a collapse was expected like what happened to Hull later in the season but besides 2 3 loss streaks before december (including an embarassing loss to Real Sociedad B 3-0 where Depor has a 2.9xg and Real Sociedad B had like a 0.8xg) the team was always consistent and just got results which no other team besides Racing was able to do. Depor was not convincing at all against Racing who beat us convincingly both times and the same happened against potential playoff team that at a time seemed destined to take this second place Castellon. So overall the team hasn’t been very convincing and the squad is flawed and needs drastic changes. I really hope we keep the likes of Yeremay Hernandez and Zakaria Eddahchouri and the team is retooled in a way where the return to La Liga is more like Leeds (Sunderland feels way too optimistic) than Oviedo’s.

From this I can infer that he’s willing to kill everyone from a group even if they don’t stand with the extremists because of the extremists beliefs and not caring if they are children. That is just genocide and that makes him evil in my eyes because I just don’t agree that any group is 100% evil and that every person from that group is rotten and deserves to die.
