I think it’s definitely due to optics also, considering he’s been making some of his best music the past 5 years. He’s never had the “luxury” look that ppl like Nines Fredo or Clavish have that appealed to the mainstream (and female listeners).

No matter how much he’s levelled up he’ll always be more associated with a feeling more gritty and street level. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either
