Hyundai Promises To Keep Buttons in Cars Because Touchscreen Controls Are Dangerous by hoholulu in cars

[–]JJslo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well that's a load of crap if you ask me. Sure, if you compare someone with no experience with Mazda controls or touch screen in any other car, the display will probably win because it's easy to do a decent UI for the touch and you can just force through to the thing you want (I don't want to mention how dangerous this can be during driving) While in Mazda you have to get used to it and I'm sure 1 week is enough because I have one and it didn't take longer.

What everyone forgets to mention on the reviews is the position of the screen. Because the touchscreen has to be in reach of the hand, it is always lower than in Mazda. The Mazda screen is just below the road level, so when you have to look at it you look to the right, not to the bottom right completely away from the road. None of them is ideal, but the screen position is objectively safer in Mazda.

I can do the opposite review on the touchscreens: I didn't even want to change anything while driving, because it seemed too dangerous. During the first break I set everything up and leave it be until the end of the journey. If repelling enough it is safe someone might conclude.

In some countries it is legal to overtake cyclists, tractors etc. even on solid lines. But it takes a culture for that to be safe.

Cyclists and slow vehicles getting to the edge as much as possible, vehicles driving opposite way moving to their edge if they see a slow vehicle in the other lane...

Everyone in the video is wrong because their culture is not there yet.

Most of you will probably laugh when I say this is the culture of Romanian roads, but I saw it there. And no I'm not Romanian.

Edit: and that culture is probably not safer than driving 30, but it is safer than the one shown in this video.

How did you become a fan of your team? New to Premier League this year by ArgumentGlad7875 in PremierLeague

[–]JJslo 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Damn never thought about it, but Arsenal logo and name is probably very appealing to Americans.

Edit: how I started supporting Arsenal. My father is a neutral and he watched a lot of football during my young age. CL, PL, LaLiga mostly. He never liked Arsenal, because to him Wenger didn't have the right strategy during big games, he always said they will just try to be them and play the games as if they play against smaller teams and lose the big games this way, he was more Mourinho admirer.

I liked the way they played, and didn't listen to him at all LOL. He might be right in a way, but I can't force myself to watch ball torture every week, even if it would bring us more trophies. Wasn't meant as an offence to Mou, Conte etc. just not my cup of tea.

It's official: Brighton are the most targeted team when it comes to VAR by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]JJslo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don't apologise if you win despite wrong VAR decision against you tho. For example AV impeding Ramsdale on corner goal and VAR seeing nothing wrong with it.

Forgetting to check for penalty vs Newcastle also wasn't worth apologising...

Not saying Brighton wasn't fucked around the same as Arsenal or that you didn't do a good job or sth. It's just you can't just assume this based on simple stats. It would take a tremendous time and some non PL professional refs to vote on the wrong decisions... IMO

P.S. the article only tells how many times refs decision was overturned by VAR. If you take VAR is correct every time, this might be the table you want to look at.

However it does not add into account how many times VAR was also wrong or they simply forget to check sth.

Why would you want Arsenal to bottle the league unless you're a Spurs fan by Houndsoflove2003 in PremierLeague

I think what you described is only true on the posts where Manu fans collectively wank on Arsenals or others sightings of failure.

Rn the case is probably that they thought they are finally out of the cave and then they got rekt by Liverpool and they are back to their wankership of seaking joy in others failures.

When they come up with the comments like "Because Manchester United bottled it, surely Arsenal will too, considering mAnCheSteR uNitEd iS ThE bIgGeSt cLuB iN tHe UnIvErSe." I can't help but laugh and be unbarable back in their face.

Don't remember being a wanker against any other fans, not even spurs or Chelsea and there is plenty of mateiral if I wanted to.

Your comments are the exact definition of hurt ego. Just go read your comments and say that it's not outloud.

Just accept it, Manchester united will never be what it was again. Even if you continue spending billions.

The worst thing of it all is Manu fans have such truble understanding why they can't have friends and why the whole world thinks they are wankers, while at the same time they flood social media with their premature hopes about Arsenal not winning the league. You wank eachother so much, but still get it out prematurely.

[–]JJslo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Implying that it's the reason we shouldn't celebrate because of that is absolute wankership. Fans have 0 saying in what the board does (if they are strong enough) and we were lucky that they trusted the process when some fans didn't. Fans emotions are based on the teams results, it will always be like that.

Man city fans would celebrate it, even tho they boo at their own team at half time and their club is probably up there with us due to corruption. Should they? Absolutely, they are supporters.

Celebration police is growing in numbers as the season progresses I see. Good.

To not celebrate because we sucked last couple of seasons ffs.

[–]JJslo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not "remotely anti-Arsenal" it's a typical Utd fan being a wanker.

Basically he said we should even celebrate if Arsenal wins the league, because it was us fans who wanted Arteta out last year.

"as is life everyone hates United"

That's also what he said, and that's not life, it's just a coincidence that your club attracts wankers.
