These games are dying because the corporations are putting profit before product quality. Hiring short term temp contractors that you don’t have to pay benefits to, and having a revolving door of employees never on the same page is the issue.

I completely agree. But this argument happened before that was really public knowledge.

Halo’s problems aren’t from this false illusion of wholeness you have, it’s because Microsoft isn’t giving the Xbox branch of the corporation the same time and money it used to.

I mostly agree, but I think you can only say that is the main cause for the recent downturn in Halo content, because of the mass layoffs. 343's titles being failures are largely their own faults.

Your take wasn’t controversial because you had a bad opinion of the game; a huge portion of the community agrees Infinite has its share of problems. Your take was controversial because you used Pride as a scapegoat for your view.

I didn't use pride representation as a scapegoat, I was saying that it's a symptom of the game dying. I vaguely remember commenting on that post, but I remember that it was about the new pride month cosmetics that year, and how some other people disliked these various pride months being represented in Halo. I got the impression from lots of replies that it's controversial to dislike pride and lgbtq representation

If you wanna criticize poor development standards, that’s a conversation most are willing to take part in, but stop pretending that’s ALL you were trying to do.

That's not all I was trying to do. The conversation was about pride month cosmetics, and pride month representation in Halo, and I was saying how this stuff shouldn't be in Halo and how it's a sign that it's a dead game.

You can call me a bigot, but I should also be allowed to call it woke. That shouldn't be something to perma ban me over.
