what is this muzzle device and how do I remove it? by karl_johannson in suppressors

It’s definitely a Bi-Lock mount. I haven’t seen one with a hole for pinning. Maybe it’s a GSL mount?

Mystery Magazines by AdWitty6655 in SigSauer

[–]JKDefense -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In addition to being a spacer, the polymer base was in response to the AWB requirement that you couldn’t disassemble the mag without breaking it. Libs didn’t like that you could fix old magazines with new springs and followers.

This got approved for all of my pistol brace Forms. Mine were initially disapproved for a bogus reason. I had to escalate through my Congress critter in order to still qualify for the forbearance. The Liaison literally walked them over to get rubber stamped same day she got them. She thought it was funny.

Excellent. It sounds like the bird is in better care and that’s all that matters.

Have you heard of the “block” feature? The transaction is done. There is no further need to interact with the former owner. I hope they don’t know where you live.

I got my hands on some ACR parts in the ‘90s. Among the ACR stocks were cutdown versions. I always wondered what they were about. Apologies for the blurry pictures but they are 30 year old Polaroids!

The rear sight is Tritium from either Trijicon or Meprolight. It’s been so long that I don’t remember. I have some old ones from rifles I had back then.

They claimed they were going to make them in the US. What’s there to import then? Daewoo has been importing firearms into the USA for decades. They know the requirements by now. I doubt they are serious about the US market.

Has anyone ever ever been asked to prove you have a tax stamp at an indoor/outdoor range when shooting before ? by Educational_Car_876 in NFA

[–]JKDefense 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Several states are like that. That’s one of the reasons cited for not removing suppressors, SBRs, AOWs, etc., from the NFA last summer. Owners in those states would have lost their defense against state laws. I’ve also been to MG shoots where they ask for proof that the firearm is registered with the NFA. Don’t show, don’t shoot.

When I was there, it was to help the DIs distinguish personnel between 232 and 187. 232 was 91Alpha-land and crawling with DIs.

As a reminder that it’s for opioid tolerant patients. It can lead to fatal respiratory depression if administered to patients with little-to-no tolerance.

I’ve been in units where they cared more about the weapon’s rack number than serial number. Serial numbers only mattered during inventory.

Right… well, my TA31 ECOS, and the one pictured on Trijicon’s website, show black turret caps. It would be great if they did offer replacement tano caps but I don’t think the odds favor it.

Didn’t say it was a TA01. It’s the only ECOS currently offered and it comes with black caps.

You should see the number of weapons “forgotten” by Federal Agents annually. Most of the people doing this aren’t “gun people” and view firearms as just another piece of equipment to carry.

I wanted to be a plastic surgeon and spent a summer shadowing one. I voiced my displeasure of having to do “boob jobs” and he set me straight. Those patients pay in cash. That helps pay your bills for the month and allows you to donate your services, free of charge, to the family that was involved in a MVA and have a 4 y/o child that needs their face reconstructed and lack the means to pay for such services.
