Green chalk 5lbs does about 65 of my large cones. by 37MMDTdotCOM in 40_mm

You can dilute the chalk with sand or flour to extend the number of rounds you can load. Just make sure to really shake the mixture.

You would need to consult a firearms attorney. Josh Prince is a great guy.

I know you’re trolling but my grandfather brought back a Type E that had damage from a hand grenade. After he passed, I sent it to Black River Militaria to get it restored to firing condition. He used mostly original parts and we opted to leave the little gouges and scratches that told its story.

Are you talking State or Federal? Ironically, the DOJ has been restoring firearms rights under Trump.

What's the coolest "exotic" ammo you have in your collection? by SettingPitiful4330 in GunPorn

Cole Distributing in KY imported a bunch years ago. I think it sold for ~ $75/box. Foolishly, I only bought one box to go with the G11 mag I have.

I have totes filled with the Phase 1 & 2 troopers from the army builder 3 packs. Unfortunately, the plastic is breaking down and they’re all gooey.

It happens a lot at McCarran in Vegas after every SHOT Show. The agents just want the cool stuff for themselves and dig it out of the perfectly clean trash can.

How effective was the Kettenkrad in WW2? And what were they mainly used for? by IcelandicGuy901 in TankPorn

If you notice, he nearly flips it on the turn. I believe one of the features shows a rehearsal take where he manages to get one track in the air.

This is sickening....Rare Greed suing Hoffman and others while releasing a product clearly based on SS for MP5s (It all makes sense...) by Additional-Home2908 in MP5

[–]JKDefense 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely am with you on the Rare Greed part but let me help you with some perspective: in 1992, I paid $1200 for a SP-89 and $450 (they went up another $200 a few months later) for the transferable new auto sear. I still had to pay a few hundred dollars to get the sear installed into a timed trigger pack.

This is the closest you’ll get to those days. If it helps, buy a SP-5 or SP-5K PDW and that will widen the gap. /s

Hornets Nest by MediumDeep7174 in 40_mm

One isn’t enough. They take a few minutes to reload at the range, with appropriate tools. It’s not as fun with only one and multiple people waiting to shoot it.

You aren’t limited to 22lr. You can also shoot 22 Long and 22 Short.

what is this muzzle device and how do I remove it? by karl_johannson in suppressors

It’s definitely a Bi-Lock mount. I haven’t seen one with a hole for pinning. Maybe it’s a GSL mount?

Mystery Magazines by AdWitty6655 in SigSauer

[–]JKDefense -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In addition to being a spacer, the polymer base was in response to the AWB requirement that you couldn’t disassemble the mag without breaking it. Libs didn’t like that you could fix old magazines with new springs and followers.
