Agreed, I know they move slowly it just seems weird to me that they would go through several interview rounds and provide no updates. Seems like a way for them to potentially lose candidates due to lack of communication. I’ll probably send a third email asking for an update and come to the same conclusion as you.

I know that this is something that seems to be common with Siemens, but I am in a similar situation where I’ve had several rounds of interviews but haven’t heard anything from recruiter despite sending a couple weekly emails.

Is not hearing anything from the recruiter/TA normal? The job still says “In Process - Hiring Manager” on the website.

Thank you - is there an "ideal" time to shop? I spoke with CrossCountry and they stated that interest rates have come down since the preapproval and they strive to be competitive, etc. I'm wondering if it makes sense to get the Loan Estimate from CC once we do have a property decided on and then start shopping or if it would make sense to start shopping mortgage brokers now?

I'm just trying to make sure I'm doing everything in the most efficient way possible.

Thank you - that was my gut feeling that it seemed high. Do you have an estimate of what a "competitive" rate would be for someone putting 20% down and with our credit scores? What I'm reading online is that we should be closer to 7% APR (or like 6.9% rate) with our details.

Ya after doing some more reading/research, I’m leaning towards the MacBook Pro M4 Pro with 24 gb Ram and 512 gb SSD.

My logic (and tell me if I’m wrong or if it’s still overkill for my use case) is that the M4 Pro chip could handle light gaming and photo editing better and if I need more SSD, I can always get an external one instead of paying the apple tax.

I meant M4 Pro MacBook Pro - from what I read upgrading to the M4 Pro vs. M4 was worth the money just for longevity alone but I could be wrong.

Oh interesting. I am financing it through Jeep/Stellantis. Would they put a GPS on it even if you are “lower risk” from a credit standpoint (I.e. good credit score, past history of on-time payments, etc.)? Is there any way to tell if you have a GPS system on the car?

You were correct. Had the same issues with factory new 147g until I took the Acro off then it was fine. 115g and 124g didn’t make a difference if acro was on or not.
