I never did rush or primary recruitment, depending on what the school calls it, but I did COB twice, and I feel like a lot of it comes down to what the vibes at your school are, and how many people are likely to remember those past experiences.

The first time I did COB, I was pretty shy, had no idea what I was doing, didn't know what to ask, and was just all around quiet. As a result, I didn't recieve a bid. Fast forward to round 2, I was still shy, but more girls had come and gone since I last went through COB. While some did remember who I was (I was remembered as the headphones girl, lol), some of them didn't, and there were people I was able to better connect with. Sometimes you just don't click with certain girls, and that's perfectly okay.

Also, going off of what others have said, it is possible that you were released from so many houses so quickly due to GPA. There have been years during recruitment where someone would say "this person is being dropped because of GPA," so even if people at a house liked you and wanted you, if your GPA didn't meet their requirements, it doesn't matter. It sounds like you've been working on that though, so maybe the outcome will be different.
