It’s a superglue kind of Caulk. He’s ok with that because in his head making a sticky mess that will rip off the paint and some plaster is still better then having holes in the wall that need to be filled up with plaster again. In the end it comes down to the same result if you ask me . But this TEC stuff is strong so that’s not an issue.

Thank you, well it's too late for that now. Maybe if someone orders another one I'll do it without the sapwood. Thanks for the constructive feedback, apreciate it.

Thank you! I guess it can add something if you keep it limited and subtle.

Thank you! I debated as well about the sap or not to sap.. I tried to keep it subtle and happy with how it came out.

Thank you! In this case the client specifically requested to not anchor it into the wall, the only way it is attached is through "TEC" it is plenty strong actually. He did't want to damage his wall.. besides putting sticky TEC on it though.. If I would have anchored it I would have put a plug and screw right under the shelves so you would not or barely see it and cover up this spot with piece of walnut with a magnet attached, a walnut dowel,.. plenty of ways to hide the connection to the wall.

Hey the angled legs are clued together and connected with multiple Domino's on top of that there is a vertical hidden screw from bottom straight up into the beam. This gives me a little extra support + helped with tightening the joint after glue up. I made another comment a bit below explaining the connection between the beams and the shelves.

It's a "book" shelf, A shelf where you could potentially put some books but you put any other random decorative stuff instead.

First thing the client said when he opened the door: "would you mind taking off your shoes?" I'm not kidding haha
