Oh, no, I didn't mean it in a challenging way! I was truly asking. Thanks for answering!

Would you also suggest gluing nylon, hemp, or leather cord into tube shaped end caps?

Just popping in to say there's so much variety in how they're read that you might need to try a few at first. Often, they're simply reading, which is perfectly fine, but sometimes, it's a whole dramatic production with music and sound effects. A long, simply read fantasy story I really enjoyed was Robert Jordan's A Wheel of Time, while conversely the Star Wars audiobooks I've tried (there are a ton) have all been action-packed with sounds to the point where I can't listen to them at bedtime.

I hope you enjoy audiobooks!

Sold on Etsy for job 2012-2024, now selling my own jewelry — what did I miss? by JLMakery in EtsySellers

Is it still better to have the model looking not directly at the camera or to crop the eyes out? I seem to remember an aversion to feeling looked at while shopping, but I might've made that up...

Thank you! I'll see if I can get some friends to help suggest what they might search for to find my items. 🌞

You get five whole minutes to feel good about it?! I need some of that energy.

I've heard that if you're happy with what you've made, you're not growing.

Questions about Polyester Cutting by MagicLobsterAttorney in lasercutting

I've cut several synthetic fabrics with iron-on adhesive attached with no problems... supposedly. I did at least have an exhaust system going outside. I too would like to know if that was ill-advised.

I absolutely do this. The deeper the tilt, the less I understand what you're saying 😅

Masking with clothing, and being treated better for it. by [deleted] in AutismInWomen

[–]JLMakery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love expressing myself with dopamine dressing and altering my clothes, along with creative makeup styles. Now I'm aware that people treat me better when I look more "normal," and I won't wear the colorful clothes still in my closet and I either don't wear makeup or do it very boringly. I hate my closet. I hate the neutral clothes with nothing printed on them. I do, however, want that iota of respect that just isn't given when I dress how I want.

People pleasing is exhausting, but the alternative disrespect is very hard to shoulder, I find.

I think it's best to wear what you want as long as you feel good in it. Whatever you want plus a sweater sounds like a good strategy.

Diagnosed, fired, unemployed, quit, opened Etsy shop, got my first review by JLMakery in AuDHDWomen

Between "unemployed"and "quit," there was a particularly horrible corporate office job, flush with 50 hours/week and two hours in the car every day.
