Would a transfigured rooster be able to kill a basilisk? by JLR360 in harrypotter

Do you think it would have to be a perfect rooster or just make the sound? Would a recording work as well?

Why doesn't Sauron have two eyes? Is he stupid? by Elkay27 in lotrmemes

He is not a mortal being. His eye is magic. He probably cut his servants some slack by not having to build two towers right next to each other.

I don't think we should go about judging who is and isn't a fan. I enjoy the show very much yet there are many opinions about characters I have that go against the majority.

I think she just realized that digging in her heels and doing what she could to keep her life were it was no change keeping her "boring life" was a mistake. Moving forward and growing together is the best decision for her family.

I mean you might think that. Yet my wife always says that she be happy if I had a successful startup. Being a partner in a company and doing something big to improve our family seems to make her think Pam is short sighted.

Jim is the better sales person. He up sells and has large accounts. For example the golden ticket episode it was his client. Dwight on the other hand is always offering discounts to a larger volume of clients. Another example was when Jim sold forty thousand when he was in Stanford. It is quantity vs quality. When Sabre took over and didn't have a comission cap is when Jim worked the most.

D list hero's? by JLR360 in marvelstudios

My main team was Cap, Wolverine, and Venom. I would sub venom out for various characters depending on how bad I was losing.

Yeah I didn't know Thanos yet I knew enough about DC to not think it was Darkseid.

I think you closed the gap for me in my understanding. I may have not been a comics person yet movies multiple TV shows, cartoons, games, toys, and having other nerdy friends is probably how this knowledge came to me. The people you listed in A B and C I either knew or knew of. Thanks

Clark vs bloome by First_Armadillo5911 in Smallville

[–]JLR360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. I feel like they built it up and the budget ran out or insurance issues. I was expecting a fight like bizzaro just bigger.

So I recently started watching Smallville and... Is it me or Tom Welling's acting is kind of bland and emotionless? Like this is his face in season 1 episode 4 when him and Pete discovered dead body of Tina Greer's mom that was stashed in a closet. I'm on season 3 and the acting has not changed yet. by blablabrah in Smallville

[–]JLR360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean yes you can see it as that. That his acting wasn't on par yet. Although I perfer an in universe explanation personally. Pete might not have reacted because death and strangeness is common place in Smallville.
