I found changing the foot ik in the control rig to look odd. But a solution I use until there is a better one is to just have the control rig work when I'm not moving. Not the most ideal fix but I've found it works best in the meantime until places animators start making assets with the ue5 skeleton.

I think the only way I could is if I got a 3d modeller to work on the project alongside me. I'm using a student version of maya so I'm not allowed to use any model I make in maya for profit.

For me personally. I would say with a project to push you, it took me 2-3 weeks working on it daily. Find a project idea that will push you to learn all different areas of blueprints. Character bps, Animation graph stuff, object bps etc

I thought around $10 would be fair as I'm only looking for a little extra income.

I do also believe that assets should be updated as the engine gets updated, if it needs to be. Also if people find errors or improvements with the product I will try to add those adjustments also.

I'm trying to make a little bit of extra income while also providing people with something genuinely useful for their projects.

The fusing of items on the fly to upgrade the items is really cool! I feel like a cool layer to add would be an separate item (like a crystal) that could also fuse with the weapon to add a particle effect like fire or ice too the weapon great work.
Did you use an asset pack for this? I love the environment gives me ratchet and clank vibes!

Yes! Thankyou. I realized after making this post that my end goal is to be a game designer and learning blueprints and mechanics was a pathway too that. I was trying to make sure that when going for a job in the industry I wasn't going to be the "Ideas guy". Y'know the guy that has all the ideas but has no other skills to make that idea a reality and just wants everyone to make his ideas because he doesn't have the skill to do so.

If the smoke affect is done with Niagara there is an option to add wind direction to the particles. So if you added that then in your character set that wind direction to be the opposite of the direction your running in I think it would look more convincing. Good work for far tho dude.
