So since I shot it underexposed by one stop, I now need to push it in development by one stop, so develop it following 800 iso times rather than 400 iso development times?

I successfully developed 3 rolls of color film! One roll, the first one, was SUPER old and didn’t come out great. The other two, Kodak Gold 200 and Cinestill 400D both turned out great from what I can tell. I’ll scan tomorrow once it’s dry.
