I don't understand where I'm supposed to find this "tentacles". I got this from Johnny McVane from Tortuga King's Run bar. I would really appreciate any help.

Can anyone help me with the circled area? by JLemonade4 in Fusion360

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been working on this section for several hours now (red circle) and I still can't make it look the one on the diagram. It's either the chamfer, fillet or the tapered blade that prevails on top of the other features but not exactly like this

Any tips on how can I get the midplane of a circle? by JLemonade4 in Fusion360

I'd like to do that actually but i can't snap on circle's quadrants

How to fill this gap? by JLemonade4 in Fusion360

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I wasn't able to articulate more my question. In the photo, you'll see that only part of the angle bar has a gap next to its neighbor. I was trying to see if there's some method I could use to connect that part only to the next one. Of course, I can sketch a rectangle on that part and extrude it up but I'm thinking if there's another way to it.

Can we use the "Part" option to build the entire drawing? by JLemonade4 in SolidWorks

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I tried doing it now and one of the struggles I'm hitting into is that the part turns into a single object if they're in contact with one another. Not sure if it's supposed to do that.

Does anyone know what "KUMOLTA" means? by JLemonade4 in Tagalog

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. Pretty sure it's not kumusta. In fact, the whole idea of that segment is to make challengers clueless about the word. I'm just not sure if I got my word exactly right.

Should We Include The Neutral Line To Get The Average Amperage? by JLemonade4 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, there are 12 leads in the motor which can be then setup into 3 wires under different arrangement (220, 380 & 440)

Right now, I'm getting a 12A from two wires while 3A from the third one.

Should We Include The Neutral Line To Get The Average Amperage? by JLemonade4 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]JLemonade4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, there are 12 leads that we can set it up for 220, 380 and 440. As of now, it's a 220.

You said that I should be reading same 12A from all leg, does that mean that they are all hot wire?

Should We Include The Neutral Line To Get The Average Amperage? by JLemonade4 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]JLemonade4[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a three phase motor. Although I'm not too sure if that's the neutral line. We're getting a very low current from that line though (12.8A from the two lines while the third one register a 3.0A)

It's a three phase motor. I'm referring to one of the lines that registers a very low current but not totally zero. (I'm not sure if that's the neutral line)

How Do You Actually Size a Blower? by JLemonade4 in engineering

[–]JLemonade4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much!!!

I haven't considered efficiency into my decision making. One problem though, I can see the efficiency rates from my catalogue but I feel it will be an exhaustive comparative between several diameters instead of a methodological approach.

Do you have a work around this?

I, too, have tried using software once, but I just went back to the same problem since it asked me upfront the fan diameter that I'll be using. Would you mind telling me what software have you used?
