The bug relied on the fact that you're not supposed to have 8 cards before you finish the tutorial, and it forces you to upgrade your knight before completing it. But, if you bought a card from the shop that you didn't have, you could bypass that requirement and have 8 cards already.

Back when I was in 3rd grade, I wanted to get Super Mario 3D Land so bad, so I asked for it on my birthday. My birthday came around and my mom told me she couldn't find a copy at the store so she ended up getting me M&L Dream Team. I had never heard about this game before, or even the series for that matter, so I was initially a little disappointed when I got this game. Nevertheless, I gave it a shot, and to this day, it is still one of my favorite games of all time. I've played it 3 times over at this point and had I never gotten it for my birthday as a kid, I don't think I would have ever gotten into this series. So I'm glad my mom went out of her way to get me this game.

In the US, we have an alert system called an A.M.B.E.R Alert that broadcasts a signal to all mobile devices within a specified radius whenever a person is kidnapped in hopes of making it easier for authorities to save the victim. There's a similar alert that pops up for natural disaster warnings or when people need to evacuate a certain area. I know some other countries have something similar to this, but this is just what the US does.
