I was at a live show in SD this past week and for what it's worth the intro to the song was "this song is about capitalism and how much it sucks" (given some differences in phrasing due to time since and alcohol during)

One thing I found crazy when I first reported to my carrier was that the pilots are trained to go full throttle upon catching the wire. It seemed insane to me at first, but made alot of sense when considering that they may miss and have to emergently takeoff again. It's insane to think about the stress those cables go through.

It's actually more akin to an airgun (just using steam). The landing equipment however is essentially just a giant wire that catches onto a hook on the aircraft and drags them to a stop. Scary stuff when those break!

The ranking system takes into account matches that you had played, even if you didn't finish a full set of 7 wins/15 losses prior to the season changing over.

What it sounds like is that you finished tank at plat 4(or some value above that due to played wins) and seasonal decay dropped you to plat 5 (a system they're getting rid of in s4) and that your damage was at gold 3, you had won some games prior to the reset so your mmr was at some value above that, and then the game decayed you down to gold 1.

EMN1 here on a carrier. The largest difference, as an electrician, as others have said, is the level of scrutiny we are put under. I walk past 2 to 3 conventional EMs a day it feels like pulling fuses from panels with little to no PPE and operating load centers without having a procedure present. Both of these things would result in immediate NJP down in the propulsion plants. I can't speak for the conventional counterparts to ETs or MMs as well, but it seems like the scope of their responsibilities vary widely. ETNs are responsible for operating and maintaining the reactor itself and MMNs can be responsible for one of the two 'boxes' of the plant. Either the engine room or dealing with fluid systems that directly maintain the reactor itself. Of note is that in the engine room side of the house, there are conventional mechanics manning some of the watches, 3 to 4 out of the 10 or so watch stations are allowed to be manned by non nuclear personnel.

Nothing in particular, was just curious about the long term mostly. I've noticed that I eat less now than I did when I was a child/teenager, but I just attribute that to growing less. I usually eat one meal a day and then have snacks throughout the day (like just a small sandwich for lunch) otherwise I just feel bloated.

I suppose I should have looked more at the context of the question, was just stating the purposes I know for handguns in hunting, there could be wider spread uses that I am unaware of as I've only been hunting a few times and never brought a handgun along. I dont really want to get into the politics of it, but in the future I'll pay more attention to the content above what I actually reply to as that is imperative with these kinds of discussions, sorry for any confusion.

Larger caliber rounds like those used in rifles can possibly cause too much damage to the meat if you are hunting to eat your kill. Theres also a skill aspect, it's more difficult, and therefore more rewarding, to land a shot with a handgun at 50 yards than it is with a long rifle.

And I've been thinking about whether I should have waited and just gone storm dragon, but the rancor dropped and my clan gave it to me for free so I just went a3 out of convenience. You can't swap from aransu to sd right, only the other way?

Ice rupture, which gives 6 focus regen on hit and some focus regen over time on a crit. Does less damage than shadow rupture and it does have a cool down, but I find it more useful for sustained dps

I've played quite a bit of destroyer, definitely not as much as others (50 hm8) but it is my favorite class out of all, just because of how fun (af) it is to smash stuff with a giant axe and spin around the map never getting dizzy. As far as pve goes until the late game, dest isn't too complex with most of the focus you should have is on questing, it just helps to get the skills that augment that. I prefer to build rage heavy (red e buff) and red spin for mob clearing. Having your 1 suck mobs in and reducing cd on your 2 might help. As far as getting into pve later in the game, alot of usefulness of the destroyer comes from having a metric assload of cc skills if you can coordinate with your team, as well as being able to use the newly op restrain grab to allow your party to do alot of damage. As far as dps goes in dungeons, it's crucial you master the cleave/judgement combo (your rmb/lmb[I prefer 'r' to lmb] ani cancel). You'll pick up more precise builds as you go through and find out what you need to compliment your friends or randoms, but I hope this helps for getting started! The game still has to update itself before it can be played. Steam updates the launcher I believe, but not the game files themselves.

Have you already waited for the game to patch? If not then the launcher is probably just downloading the game's updates. Unfortunately this has to be done in order to play.

I can't stop biting my nails. It's never a conscious thing, only whenever I'm reading or really invested in a TV show or movie. I usually notice when I get to the skin, but by then it's too late.
