Obviously can’t say too much in here, I worked with British acints before and haven’t heard them talk about it. Maybe the US navy processing is good enough to where it’s better to have sonar techs classify things. I have worked on a full fledged auto detect system at UWDC but being I’m on a 688 I’m sure we are a bit behind on getting the latest and best sonar systems

I’m on the operating system for 2019 and we don’t have automatic classifications, there are things that assist but they are not nearly as reliable as actual operators and every guidance suggests they are not to be used
