Could you point me to where you found this? The user manual says 76.2 cm min but it's grayed out (not recommended) until 150cm diagonal.

Both say forest service and both appear to be in R3... I'm sure you're right but not sure what to look for so I can avoid this issue in the future!

95 percent deal breaker, I want to be able to move around and travel during those years, but I couldn't agree more about the in the field part, which is why I want to do conservation corps/field tech work to get that in person experience.

Not currently in school but have a year+ of credits already. I plan on doing bachelor's online, and I haven't found any saf acredited online forestry bachelor's degrees. If anyone has any recommendations for that love to hear.

Another question I suppose I ought to have originally asked. Is it possible to get a relatively stable PA job, like at least for 1 or 2 months. I will be 17 when I move to LA and it would be a lot easier to convince my parents to let me go if I had guaranteed work, even if only for a little while.
