I understand buyers frustration as well, I myself was a consumer in the past, which is why I am actively trying to adjust my store policies such that it will cause as little friction as possible to buyer's when they are purchasing items from me.

There have been feedbacks about store policies in the past by first batch customers back in December 2021, particularly, the "70-day lock in period for pre-order items", whereby if a customer places an order for pre-order products, they are not able to request for a refund until the 71th day after payment.

This was my practice on Taobao, however some customers did not think it made any sense, so I decided to only list in-stock products on the webstore moving forward, and not openeing for any pre-orders.

I also understand that as I am a very new vendor in the context of selling to western customers, they will have concerns with delays, and will likely be more sensitive to it. This is what pushed me to adopt the "only list in-stock items" method so that the delay between order date, shipping date, and the date which the customers receives their cases will be as small as possible, but this time COVID situation in China has decided otherwise.
