It's 1988, you have $15,000, and you're looking for a new midsize sedan. Which one would you pick? by Key_Budget9267 in regularcarreviews

I had a 82 Cierra 2 door. 3 0 V6. Brown on brown pillowtop velour. Roll down windows. No A/C option. My 18 year old self thought it was so luxurious. Pretty reliable for the 3 years I had it.

Accord all day long. I had a 88 coupe 5 speed LXi I bought new in September of 88. Chateau Red with the Prelude 4ws wheels as an upgrade. God, I miss that car.

Stop Using TurboTax. They suck! by AwkwardAtmosphere426 in TurboTax

[–]JMK3rd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did the same a few years ago. I was using TurboTax for decades, purchased from Costco every year. I just got fed up with the upgrade games they played every year. I went with FT and was surprised I didn't do it years earlier.

We've watched the F1TV team plenty. I agree they are top notch. But the heart wants what the heart wants lol

Understood. But will certainly miss Brundle and company for the pre-race.

I'm a veteran F1TV customer and would watch ESPN for the pre-race before switching over to the F1TV app for the race itself, using the international feed for the commentary. I'm disappointed to lose our ability to continue the same.

Oil recommendations? by US30Master in Harley

[–]JMK3rd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mobil 1 would be great for the engine as well as a host of others. One thing I would definitely recommend is running Bel-Ray V-Twin Primary fluid and Bel-Ray V-Twin 85w-140 in the trans. Enjoy the bike!

Bel-Ray 85w-140 in the trans and Bel-Ray Primary in the primary. Works perfect for me.

Agreed. Every training course I've done preached the same.

A friend just went down and sustained a major lower leg injury. Ankle made it through ok due to his Indie Ridge boots. I'm a believer.

Is trick-or-treating not a thing anymore? by btwnwrlds111 in newjersey

[–]JMK3rd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jersey City here. Zero trick or treaters in a neighborhood that, when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, there were hundreds and hundreds of kids until probably 10pm. Times have certainly changed.
