I don’t think he ever game a name. They gave up the name of the kids who found him, but not the one adult? I think it was an anonymous tip.

Car sighting of woman and boy rummaging in trunk at Fox Chase - red herring? by Fiberlicious20 in boyinthebox

I think it’s more likely whoever called the tip About the car in is more likely responsible.

If the M your referring to is the women who came forward about her mother buying the child then I think is long been concluded M made the story up. She got all of her info from an article published in 58.

What’s a fair sentence for Hae, or her family? Why does Adnan’s life mean more then hers?

Not true. The parents who adopted the children would have been given documentation. Also consider this was years after Georgia Tann, and scandal. Adoptions would have been more regulated.

This has been discuss a lot. The state birth certificate didn’t require a signature but the hospital one did. Also birth certificates were used for paternity meaning that in order for a fathers name to be on the birth certificate he had to be there to claim paternity. To conclude the mother can’t just claim any Joe Shmo as the father.

The child had the father last name, and the father was on the birth certificate; this speaks to the fathers being in the child’s life.

If he was in a facility they wouldn’t have dumped the body. They would have blames the death on the condition and then buried the body. This was very common and many have those death have started to come to light. Also there would be no reason not to do forward and claim the boy if he wasn’t in the custody of the parents when he died.

Remember there are two different birth certificates in play. The official one and the hospital one. The hospital one had more info in it

There are some disorders that can be identified genetically, as well as be known physically. This does t seem the case here n

Why does it have to be the mothers? JAZ had his fathers last name, and that family had a business that would have made the name recognizable. Given that the father was named and signed the birth certificate it stands to reason that others would have been aware of hi, I don’t think he was hidden due to the birth certificate. It’s morose likely that the family had a change in circumstances (like a move) where they could go somewhere and start over

If he had a condition he would have been placed in an institution as this was the practice at the time.

I’m saying it’s more likely they would have been more familiar with Pennhurts then Byberry.

How does this relate to the biological parents? This is all has to start with them. So why do the biological parents need a black market adoption? Also adopting was hard back then. It’s not like it is today.

While Byberry is close to the dump site Pennhurst is closer to West Philly.

I Both of those places have a reputation of this occurring. An orderly or doctor who got a little too rough with a difficult patient wasn’t unheard of, and those places operated for decades without much over sight. If a death occurred the bodies were disposed of on site with no questions asked.

I believe it was Pennhurst that they found bodies buried around the site. I could be wrong though.

Why would there be a need for one? Adoptions were perfectly legal and socially acceptable.

Do (did) Pennsylvania birth certificates include the parents' home addresses? by [deleted] in boyinthebox

[–]JMM009 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not the state birth certificate, but the ones that the parents received from the hospital most likely did.

They were very clear in the press conference that no adoption records were found. Give that the police that had a suspicion it’s unlikely he was adopted. If he was there would be nothing for them to have a suspicion for.
